From my own perspective, I believe alts can be bought at any given time.
Bitcoin too, anything can be bought at any time. But what matters is at the right time and price that you're going to buy it. This is where many fail because they just buy even at the top price. They think that it's going to be more than the price they've bought. But if they hold and wait for it, there's really that time that it will increase.

We can never know when that "perfect time" comes but at least if we are continuously monitoring the market a higher chance to make it, at least. I'm very certain to that coz the market seems so volatile and if got to mess ourselves and got emotions, that something we missed the best opportunity deal to sell.

I often buy coins during the dip, which might be a good idea and I wait until bullish come, I don't wait for the ATH, at least I make some profit and it feels enough for me.
Yes, that's the key to it. If you get to see the glance of the market and aware of the ups and downs of it. You'll realize what's a quite good time to buy and to sell.
It's normal that we buy during the price is low and that's what when we're buying as much as we can or if the budget permits and we have some allowance at that time.

when the price declines like this time, buying is a good choice. but to anticipate the next decline, then leaving capital to buy back for the better.
It is not always a good time to buy once the market is in a decline phase. We need to analyze how's the market goes down, and what probably happens in the near future. We must learn and update the current issues/news about crypto. If there is too much negative news spreading, I suggest not buying any single coin. Those negative news may lead the market to drop more, BTC can decrease the value severely. As the result, altcoins will follow to free fall constantly. So, the best time to buy is when much positive news spreading again and BTC price gradually recovers.

That's right, don't be in a hurry to buy coins when the market goes down, because we don't know how deep the decline will be. We must do research
and analysis first of the coins that we will buy, besides we can predict whether the price of the coins will go down again, we can also judge the coins
are worth buying or not. Because not all coins are good to buy, if we choose the wrong coins for investment, then we buy the coins at a low price will not
make us profit. It is true that a market dump is a good time to buy coins, but it is necessary to analyze it first before deciding to buy. So besides being
able to avoid investing in the wrong projects, we are also more effective in generating profit.
Well, you should not come in the crypto space if you lack the knowledge and good analysis as to what coins have potentials to invest. Because if you do invest without learning much on the background of the coins you are going to invest, then most likely that your money and time will definitely be wasted.

However, i still think that the best time to invest is in time of dips. You will have more chances to be more profitable in the future if you can buy potential coins at their lowest prices. But not all low priced coins are considered profitable in the future, some are shitcoins that will never grow their value. So be careful in buying in dips.

Buying alts begins when you did a good research on trusted and reliable sources that will provide you the best outcome. You should see them at coinmarketcap listed with cheap price in each coins or tokens, but make sure that altcoin has a consistent volume at popular trading sites. That's very important to determine how it will go along the way by the time altcoins glory will come.
Do your own research is everything when it comes to this on which you do made out decisions according into your own preference and on what you had analyzed.Right time could be only determine
if you do make out some profits but knowing it earlier is the most hardest thing of all.You wouldnt know on what happens next.

Market demand is the key and theres no one would able to know if you have bought on the peak or bottom because price could go down according into
where those sellers and buyers do.

So its up to you whether you do buy or wait a little bit more.

I try to follow the news about the listing of promising coins on different exchanges, this is almost a 100% chance that after listing the coin will take off, it has been proven more than once from my own experience.

For example, now I have bought coins for a budger and nwc, which will soon have a listing on huge exchange. I am sure that the price of these coins will rise immediately.
I'm cocksure your strategy is that you buy from presale. I had to dissect your posts into two so as to get a better perspective which the bolded also brought to the fore. For you, those bought tokens will rise once they're listed because they're sold way below listing price to presale investors. A lot of projects go that way, they utilize direct purchase or launchpads too in doing that. On the contrary, those who buy tokens when they're listed will dispute with you that prices go up once tokens are listed. Reason being that upon listing early investors will dump by taking profit, and that will cause price to dip. It's the normal expectation, and it hasn't failed. My strategy is always never to rush in to buy a token immediately it's listed. Wait some time for it to dip before buying in. It surely will dip below listing price. It's just a matter of time.

Experience will stop for a minute to do since that would most likely make you predictable with what you are doing. I think a day I sold this is on the grounds that I realize it simply changes and soon it will explode very much like an inflatable. Furthermore it is just great assuming that you likewise know when to sell. Assuming you can observe the right pointer and blend of markers you would presumably get the opportunity to purchase altcoins at the ideal opportunity, however this requirements exploration, practice and application to work.

Always DYOR, but based on the trends, when the market is bearish that's the time where we can see cheap altcoins that would give us a discounted rate. I'm talking about legit altcoins here as still majority of the altcoins in the market are scams, so just follow the trend and we will find the right timing to buy.
This is good point first wait for some bearish trend and then try to have some solid altcoins because it's very important recently we have too many scam projects around crypto community which are hurting this community very badly, but sadly we have no central authority for controlling this all, so you have to check by yourself because investing. Mostly try to invest into some solid coins when price is dropping, then you can take some good profit investing in crap or scam project always ends in big hole for investor.
Recently we have some projects which help very few peoples to become but many to lost their money, so never do any blind investment for safety.

You'll be buying at a discount so why not, especially if you think that the coin is good and the damp will only be temporary? It makes sense, right? In the end, only those that take a risk and are patient can reap the rewards of volatility and have it play at their advantage.
It depends on how much the buyer believes in the coin to take off. If it is bitcoin, you can go all in without thinking twice, but altcoins? I would do my own research to know how much they have developed and how far they have kept promises before buying anything.

You can always depend on the bagholders to end up giving you a 10% gain if you buy on dumping and sell when the price is going up after that dump, but considering the buy price to be around 10-20$ range, the profit is not that lucrative.

It ends up being a personal choice though, I prefer to keep my portfolio less diverse inside the "crypto" heading, major in bitcoin and then ethereum.

It is not a 100% chance like you have said, I would give it a 50% chance, because a lot of them gets listed and still remain the same or maybe have a little increase in value, while some even end up losing value after they get listed on exchanges. There is a lot to this than just getting listed on an exchange: I think a project still needs that strong support from its community.

This is why the team is expected to work really hard in growing their community before they get listed. And for them to be able to wield such power, the idea they are bringing to the public has to be one that solves a problem or something unique that the public would need. If they are able to ignite that desire in people, then the project is sure going to be a success. If the desire is not there, most people would see the project as another hit and run.

What do you think of this strategy? How do you define a buy zone for yourself?
That's a good stuff for you. Updating yourself with the most uptodate news from different sources could help you to analyze even better to choose what coins do you invest next. Stuff like influencers tweets, bad news from exchange etc. That's why other than reading charts, stuff like news from medias could help you really that much(for example Elon's tweet way back then).
if you are into social media always that might you know everything new but just like us who have limited time (maybe OP as well) is somewhat hard. Well, of course, that is very helpful in the sense that these platforms have a huge impact on the market. But this is not all the way for us to know when exactly the right time to buy/invests because, for me, I bought coins when I was confident enough that the price will move higher after buying during the dip.

This is definitely the way to go if you have some left. However, we are at a situation where even DCA is getting over, we are not really left with too much money since most people already bought at lower and lower and lower, which means that eventually we will not be left with any money when we are trying to do DCA.

I am not saying do not leave any stablecoins at all, all I am saying is that there could be some people left with very little stablecoins like me, and they could be looking to invest that last bit of money they have left into altcoins which are very low right now. So the options in that case is not to invest at all and still keep on waiting, or invest while it is low like this, in that case I would say invest with whatever you have left. Obviously if you have enough left that you could both buy some and still hold some stablecoins, that is a better version.

You should definitely place your buy orders at those levels where there is strong support. It makes no sense to buy a coin when it is in the middle of the support and resistance levels, since we cannot predict exactly which way the price will move. And even in the case when the price moves to its high, I feel comfortable with a part of the stablecoins in my wallet, since I know that this growth is not constant and a dump can be at any minute.

The market is currently dumping a lot. Those who want to invest by buying coins can invest by buying different coins at this time.I think there are plenty of opportunities to invest right now.Everyone thinks that the market will be good enough in 2022. Since the market is dumping a lot at the moment, you can buy and hold different coins.
In any case, you need to leave part of your deposit in stablecoins, because very often, when it seems to us that there will be no further decline, the price of the coin continues to decline. In this case, buying again at a lower price, you will reduce the total cost of the purchase.
