Your strategy can work if the coin really increases after being listed on the major exchange. But that is not always happening because that will depend on the crypto market situation and that will need time before the coin price increase. If the coin price increases and then dump so hard, I am afraid that the coin is just for pump and dump and will be hard to increase even in the future.

I define a buy zone when the price is down deeper and sometimes, that can not happen in short and need to have the patience to see that time to buy. But I am too often buy new coins because I think I need more time to buy the coin at a low price.

Hello friends,

For the first time today, the right light for the cryptocurrency market came on in my head.

Everyone asked themselves the question of how to buy coins at the right time. I wanted to share my experience on these issues.

I try to follow the news about the listing of promising coins on different exchanges, this is almost a 100% chance that after listing the coin will take off, it has been proven more than once from my own experience. For example, now I have bought coins for a budger and nwc, which will soon have a listing on huge exchange. I am sure that the price of these coins will rise immediately.

What do you think of this strategy? How do you define a buy zone for yourself?

that's true, it's very likely that when a new coin is listed, the price will increase, but it's very likely and usually the high price will occur in just a short time, therefore we also have to know when is the right moment to sell it.
Broadly speaking, things will happen as you said and after that it might go down by starting to sell a lot and it can't be managed properly. but there are also those whose prices remain consistent and some even increase even more because the strategies that are built are always different.

but usually if a coin is listed on a large exchange there will always be an increase after a massive sale from the bounty because they have estimated and arranged so that the market can be controlled so that the price does not plunge.

I agree, always prepare yourself and arrange when to hold it and when to start selling it, you must continue to monitor it.

if you mean a new altcoin then it is impossible to analyze it...

if you buy a new altcoin from an new project then just sell it because 85% of the new tokens will fall in price when they are officially released on the exchange. but altcoins that have been around for a long time are quite easy to analyze because surely the price of the altcoin is very dependent on changes in bitcoin prices.

We're always advised to do research first before buying so we'll have an idea if we're on the right track and not just being carried by the hype. As long as we're buying a potential coin with a well-established foundation and as long as we're gaining a good profit, we could apply at least the basic strategy of trading which is to buy low and sell high. Sometimes, we also have to take advantage of the market situation.

Everything you said here is on point. Determining the “right time” to buy is quite hard and may be subjective on every individual’s perspective and goal. Nonetheless, researching to formulate a guide towards the right track, and sticking to established coins would be the safest methods to take. It is also not bad to take on the wave of the trends in the market but precaution is highly advised.

So I guess when investing in alts patience is needed, big things never happen quickly, it takes time for development!

Above all else, patience indeed is a virtue. When all else fails, having the patience to wait for the project and coins to develop and reap what has been sowed, or for its time to recover and regain value, is the strongest weapon against all odds. But of course, one must also be able to determine if such project and coin is really worth all the time, money and patience.

I think that the right time is always at the start of the project when the price is the lowest, but also it's the moment when the risk is the highest, you never know will some new project be successful in the future or will soon fail!
I'm thinking and investing in the long run, so I am buying alts when I have money for investing and when I think that some alt has a future! If the project is good, and the team behind is good, then the project will most likely be successful one day, but that day can be next year or in a few years! So I guess when investing in alts patience is needed, big things never happen quickly, it takes time for development!

in opening a trade we must prioritize analysis based on knowledge. first we have to research the Alt, from the team to the history in the market. buy zone should be well set up, for me it should be based on day trading or futures, if daily trading we just wait for the market to go down and sell it when it goes up. take advantage of that profit even if it is not many times.
for old altcoins like ethereum of course we have to do an analysis to maximize profits. although there's actually nothing wrong with investing in ethereum at any time. but for new altcoins, I think further research is needed, because new altcoins are riskier and easier to manipulate, so they are more difficult to analyze, and therefore require more specialized skills.

There's no actually buy zone on your part what you are doing is not trading but investing in general unlike trading on listed coin you can use a lot of indicators including moving averages, stochastic and other indicators to know where you can possibly enter trade. It depends on your strategy what could be the right time to buy alt coins.

Just to let you know your investing strategy is good. As long as you have profit, you are good already for me.

Well not every news is true to the mark and can be trusted in the crypto. I highly foresee a dilemma in that one since those are paid articles from those projects who seek marketing and clients attracted to them. More or less this is the traditional way however it also depend on project and its usefulness in the real world.

The right time to buy altcoins is when they are just getting listed over big exchangers and having pretty amazing volume from buy and sell side. This is your first step towards safety of funds or investment.

Secondly, you look for the potential bearish trend if the project is already listed and old one. That’s the right time to buy and wait for profitable opportunities.

Whenever the market falls down, only a few people buy and wait for it to fall down, but the market goes up from there, I believe we should buy by looking at the market sentiment.

I think the right time to buy altcoins is a period that is dip,but when you buy  altcoins you should be able to hold it for a long period of time or you sell when it pump. You can buy at any time, I think any time is right opportunity but the strategy that is there is to hold for a long period of time but if you want to buy coins buy from the ones listed in strong exchange especially like binance and Coinsbit. For example Shiba inu, dogecoin. Anything can happen at any time.
But how could you able to determine on when is the right time or telling that it is already the dip? This had been the main questions on where we do investors or traders do really have in mind and no one could ever tell on when it would happen and when it comes to investment decisions then this is something a personal choice.
Profitability will really vary on someones decision and choice on which coins they would tend to deal off because not all people would be having
the same mindset when it comes to choices of coins that they do like.
I've been here in the crypto market for a long time now but until this day, i'm still confused on how can we determine that it's already the deepest dip. As long as the market is in bloodbath, i think that would be the best time to buy knowing all the coins are certainly dumping. Also, you should consider too buying those established altcoins that have real use cases so you can have an assurance that its price will be even more valuable in the future. Because not all coins which are in bargain have potentials to increase their prices, shitcoins will always have low value even how many years you are going to hold it.

But you need to pay attention to the risks that will occur when the coin is listed on the exchange, there will be a lot of FOMO that will occur and this is very risky. you really have to buy at the right price to make a profit.
Before listing coins, of course you have done research so you can buy early.
Buying alt at the right time is when the alt has not been listed in a large market and has the potential to be listed in several other markets. Research becomes very important to know everything.

It is really a tricky situation but do not present it like it is an altcoin deal, it is hard to do that in every coin, including bitcoin. When you should buy depends on what you are doing and how you are doing it. I would say if you are a day trader, then you will buy based on the shortest span of time movements, hourly and even by minutes and that way you are going to make a little profit for yourself and hope that all those little profits combine together make out to be a great big one.

On the other hand, if you are a long term investor then you will probably not care about when you are buying, in the long run they all go up, obviously only if they are legit and not shitcoins. One thing to care about the prices when you are a long term is to not forget to do DCA, that way you could drop your purchasing price whenever it drops under it and can make a profit quicker.

Purchasing the right time for altcoins does need to be adjusted to the strategy that will be used to generate profits. You have explained well if we intend
to do day trading, meaning we have to monitor the market every day so we can take advantage of volatile altcoins prices to generate profits.
So we know when is the best time to buy altcoins, after successfully buying altcoins we have to take a small profit. Everything will be different if
we decide on long term investment in altcoins, that's what needs to be done is to buy altcoins regularly every time the price drops and usually we will
hold it for several years, until the target we want is achieved. The problem is that not all altcoins are good for long-term investments, therefore it is
very important to choose top altcoins if we want to invest long term.

I'm not so sure about buying new coins listed on the exchange, this is based on experience with new coins they often throw away after being pumped for the first time, only a few coins survive and are able to compete in the market. I made the decision to buy a potential alt, and always open a trade when the coin is going down. Although the profit I get is not much, but I use it well for my daily trading.
The risk is simply to high when you are buying altcoins that are just being launched at an exchange, I say this because you literally do not know what you can expect out of the coin, and we know that the majority of the coins end up losing all their value so you are taking the risk of investing in a coin that never develops into anything substantial, it is better to wait for at least a year before investing in any new coin as this will give you a chance to see how the developers work to solve all the issues that present themselves and see if a strong community develops around the coin, which are two key ingredients to see if a coin will become successful long term.

Well you’re kind of right about that, when it is getting listed on a good exchange there is a high possibility that it may boom in future. But, I think that goes down to the exchange it is being listed on, because if it’s an exchange that is not among the top exchanges and has a lower trading volume, then it might not get that coin to the level that it really needs to be.

Exchanges are not like a hundred percent guarantee of success, but like you said, it seems like this strategy has been working out for you, and if that’s the truth you can stick to making use of this strategy and any other that works for you. But if it’s really something about being listed, you would so many trending. Another thing is that once they get listed and their price increase, some people will rush to sell.
