What exchange do you buy/sell your cryptos? What is the best? How have you chosen the one you use?

This question is being asked million times a day. There is NO ultimate answer for you. Find the best exchange yourself, be critical, do research. Nobody's gonna give you the answer.

everyone has different tastes for their choice of exchanges
if you like a safe exchange, then look for an exchange that obliges KYC to all its users, like Bittrex
and if you like a simple exchange, without having to register, then try IDEX or Fork Delta
if you like a trusted exchange, visit Binance, Okex, KuCoin, and more

That won't be easily done, accept the creator of bitcoin agrees to review him self to the public and give his key code out.

has anyone heard about binance today? it was hacked.  this is just another proof of one old truth. don't put all your eggs in one basket. even if we talk about such a serious exchange, anything can happen even to the best ones.

the first you have to choose the exchanges which support your coins. The second search google about the exchanges information. the last, choose the exchange which has bigger transaction's proportion.

Before using any exchange i consider following things.
1.If it has KYC or not.I only use exchanges that have no KYC.We are using crypto right? Tongue
2.If should have instant withdraw for cryptos.
3.It should be well known and reliable exchange.
4.It should provide good number of security options. Smiley

Then you must not have serious amounts of trades to make, I guess! Check out all the daily trading volume, especially for Bitcoin markets. The vast majority of it happens on centralised exchanges that require KYC. You're talking about well-known and reliable too... all the reputable ones need KYC.

Of course, completely agree that we shouldn't need to - and that's why I still believe these decentralised exchanges (or at least, trustless) or even simple atomic swaps will one day become big. If all of them could just pull their acts together - we'd have a lot more choices.

I wouldn't risk much of my coins on an exchange without KYC either... I think guys like Yobit are really popular for that but it's a matter of time before their hands will be forced - or they get in trouble. And clients would be the first to suffer.

I usually go with the pairs having high trade volume on the market wall and I rarely pick any non popular pair. I usually go with Changelly, Yobit, Zebpay and Unocoin. For me, lowest fees and speedy process are primary factors to determine which exchange to use for trade. I am less trader and more investor and you get a sense of proper timing in the same with some experience.

Go for an exchange which is having a good reputation. I still remember what happened in 2014. There were only two big exchanges back then - Mt Gox and BTC-e. The vast majority of the users were favoring Mt Gox over BTC-e, because the CEO of Mt Gox was a well known figure. And we know what happened to Mt Gox in the end.

For me the better exchange of do i want to have is more on altcoins because for me it is good and i know that it is worth it when i already had more altcoins to be exchange and used or such sell . Altcoin is the best for me since altcoin is too much expensive i would choose it again and again.

I like the mainstream exchanges like bittrex, binance and kucoin. Just be sure to check the spelling of the url before going. My number 1 exchange is binance because they have good coins listed on their exchange plus they give lots of freebies 😊

In my opinion, if you want to invest or trade not only BTC and ETH, but also other promising altcoins, then the best choice today is Bittrex, Binance, and Poloniex.
I wouldn't have said Poloniex earlier because it had some problems before. But it was the best, the oldest and the most popular cryptocurrency exchange not long ago before it faced problems. Recently Poloniex was bought by Circle and it promised that all the troubles with support and customer service will be operatively solved. I think they will keep their word, it is in their interests. I guess, soon we will see the revival of the good, old and beloved Poloniex. Hopefully, all the old clients of this exchange will come back there soon. As a matter of fact, this exchange platform is very easy to understand and navigate.
So, don't be afraid to use these three exchanges. I understand, how important is this issue, especially for a beginner. When I started to invest in crypto, I couldn't decide which exchange to choose myself, 'cause every exchange had bad reviews and feedback on various websites. But when you start dealing it yourself, you can understand most of the people, who say bad things about exchange services, simply make mistakes themselves, being inattentive, not reading all the terms and rules.
Wish you good luck with your choice.

First of all the coin that you are using must be present on the exchange. Then look for the ease and convenience. I am using mobile most of the time so I am after an exchange with a mobile friendly interface. Poloniex fits right in. Plus it has high volumes and more crypto that can be traded. Fast transaction and easy to maneuver than bittrex, nova and any other exchange. I think it is also secured because of the 2FA authentication.

Sometimes you don't have a choice to choose any exchange to use as your holding crypto only have one to make that.
But if you will choose something good, better to check the volume of the said token and try to look how busy the market in exchanges.

Previously i often use bittrex, now I use both bittrex and binance. I usually consider everyone's feedback before choosing an exchange.

If I have to choose a good trading platform or good exchange, I would have to look for its volume and it does not have to the number one exchange.

I would recommend binance and their coin.
Binance is a pure cryptocurrency exchange, meaning they do not deal with fiat currencies.
For more info. visit their website.  Cool

As for me, several criteria should be met to consider an exchange as reputable, trusted.
The first factor is security: use exchanges that provide cold storage, 2FA, etc. But remember that it's you who is actually responsible for your coins, and better transfer them to your wallet after buying.
The second important indicator - how long the exchange is in the market and where it is based. IMO to trust platforms registered in the first-world countries with long operational history and many customers is better than newly appeared exchanges.
And third: it is preferable for me to buy at the exchanges with fiat. But sure this is optional and will solely depend on your purposes. As for my pick - I mainly stick to cex.io
