There are a lot of ways in earning free altcoins. Here are what I know.
- Joining bounty campaigns to earn(this is the method I usually earn).
- Joining airdrops is also a way to earn.
- Invest your money in an altcoin.
- Gamble some of your btc to get some other btc and exchange to alt.
Well... bounty campaigns were attractive around one and half years back but nowadays they no longer pay good rewards. There is too much competition and the reward per head has fallen to very low amounts. If you are taking part in social media bounty, then on average you will receive anywhere from $5 to$10 per campaign (if they make the payments as promised). Signature bounties are more attractive, but the problem here is that they can last from 3 months to 12 months, and during this time you can't take part in any other campaign. And even after all this, there is no guarantee that the payments will be made. A lot of bounties cheat the participants in the end by refusing to pay.
Airdrops represent a safer option, but it is like a lottery. If you take part in 100 airdrops, on average you will get good reward from 2 or 3. But I still prefer this method when compared to the bounty campaigns, because your time and effort will not go to waste if the payment is not made. And the third and forth options are strict no-no for me. I would classify both of them as gambling. If you want to gamble away your money, then you can go ahead and take part in these activities. But I would say these are the methods to
lose your coins, and not to earn them.
