There are several ways to get altcoin for free. the first to follow the airdrop, signature campaign and faucet. I also rely on salaries from signature campaigns to invest in bitcoin. after the campaign project that I follow is complete then I will get a token and then the token will be sold and bought bitcoin. even though the salary from the campaign project is not as much as before it doesn't matter. the important thing is we collect altcoin for free. Do your research seriously because most projects are scam campaigns.

Many things we can do to earn altcoins, if we have expertise then mining is the best thing to earn altcoins, but if we are new to crypto then we can join bounties and airdrops in this forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0).

Participating in airdrops is another means of earning free coins. There are still some good airdrops within the crypto-currencies ecosystem that one could participate in . The reward might be meagre

Faucets are not preferable if you wan to earn free altcoins because you will only waste your time. I earned most of my altcoins through joining in bounty campaigns in this forum.
But some of those who are only active in the social media are more interested in the airdrop program which seems to only have tasks that might be easier and can be completed faster because each of the tasks has a difference that is not much different, but to get the reward takes a long time. The point is there are many ways to earn free altcoins and if you have the skills to get a lot of information circulating then you will be easier to get it.

Waste of time.  Op's effort would be better spent on any of the other things in your list.  There's not even a fair comparison between faucet earnings and something like doing a bounty.  You could spend several days claiming from all of the moonbit/moonlitecoin/etc. faucets and end up with less than $1.  That isn't worth anyone's time in my opinion.

This kind of topic has been very much discussed before. And the search button should be used so that @OP does not open this thread.
Yeah, you're correct.  I never can understand why new members just can't start out on bitcointalk by reading instead of opening threads with questions that have been asked hundreds of times.  The answers to questions like this never change, either.

Doing airdrop is the best and easiest way to earn free alts , but it's random value and mostly few of it. And the second way is doing faucet and bounties. It need a bit of work but the result is quite nice
Free alts that are mostly useless, zero value, zero market. Faucets not worth it, don't expect that free altcoins are going to be worth it someday. There are airdrop campaigns that's done by known companies like coinbase and blockchain.com that gives $25 stellar.

In that kind of bounty, you'll have to exchange your identity to them in return to the favor of the reward they'll give you. Many joined the airdrop but I didn't.
I agree that faucets is not an option at all. Useless and it is unlikely to ever become useful.
Bounty, not much, but yes. Airdrops - gives very little amount. But there is an option to invite much referrals and get paid for those invitations.
Some are just waste of time and some can be a way for your account to be scam. There is no worth giving time on free altcoin because very few are true and good project and make success on the development and being implement. Better to work and invest with popular altcoin rather than finding and waiting for the worth of what you think can give you some.

Can you recommend airdrops where users could earn free alts, I have not seen good airdrop for very long time, frankly most airdropped tokens are sitting in my wallet, can't find projects lol. Faucets won't bring you much progress and bounty will give you good number but token value is another number hehe.

Not your Keys, Not your Bitcoins
October 11, 2019, 06:57:53 AM
You already have more bitcoin than 99% of the planet's population. That's definitely not a small amount. Remember that 0.01 BTC worths 0.01 BTC. In the future 1 BTC might be worth $1,000,000, that means your "measly" 0.01 value in USD will be: $10,000!

Now regarding your concern - you can participate in bounties and faucets but you will earn very small amounts unless you have good content creation skills. I recommend just getting yourself a real job and allocate a part of your wage to investing into cryptocurrencies. I'm not a financial advisor so you don't have or should listen to my advice. Grin

This kind of topic has been very much discussed before. And the search button should be used so that @OP does not open this thread. It's the same with the topic "how to get crypto without having to invest and mine". This should be common in the crypto world, why should it be discussed again?

Signature bounty probably would be the best way, IF you can get accepted into a project that pays in either BTC or ETH, ideally on a set schedule.

You may be able to make something from token bounties, but there it's hit or miss. And even a hit may just be like $10.

Maybe try the Brave browser and go for BAT tokens. Won't be much, but it'll at least be something.

I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...

There are many ways to earn free altcoins. You can join multiple airdrops or bounty campaigns. But if you join airdrops you can get altcoins by doing nothing, if you join bounty you have to do some promotional posts.

can advise invest in what any project and on the sly build up its portfolio. Or just trade on exchanges, some coins fluctuations +-10% per day. It is up to you to decide how to use your funds

Coins don't go up that much per day. Only sometimes they do that to look good.
In fact many coins move like that every day, if bitcoin the coin with the most volume can move like that from time to time then it is completely natural that smaller coins can move in such a way with more frequency, however it is not really a way to get free altcoins since you need money to buy those coins in the first place, but if you have some small capital it could be an interesting way to try to make some money especially now when so many airdrops and bounties are just scams.

Bounty Hunter Indonesia
October 10, 2019, 10:51:12 AM
Maybe what I will outline is the same as the others. I just added a few details and their meanings to make it easier to understand and easier to follow the way to get free altcoin. as i know, many ways to earn free altcoin but im only follow 3 ways to earn free altcoin until now...

1. Faucet : designation for sites that provide free Bitcoin or Altcoin to users every time they successfully meet certain requirements, such as: watching advertisements, answering surveys, playing games, etc. you can use faucet to get free bitcoin or altcoin if you dont have money. I use the faucet when I first knew Bitcoin

2. Airdrop : airdrop is a program from a company or project that gives altcoin as a reward for some tasks (usually easy) that have been done. for now, some airdrops require participants to fill out KYC to prevent participants from registering with multiple accounts. until now i always join some airdrop which in my opinion is good

3. Bounty Hunter : as the name suggests, if you want to get free Bitcoin or Altcoin as a bounty hunter, you have to carry out several tasks of a project or company within a certain time period to get a reward in the form of Bitcoin or Altcoin. usually to be able to join a bounty program, there are several requirements that must be fulfilled by bounty participants. and even now I am still following a of bounty campaigns to get altcoin

The last thing I know but I have never followed this method is to become a bounty manager to get free altcoin. as I know that the bounty manager is a person or group of people who are in charge / working to manage the needs or goals of a project so that the project's objectives are achieved with rewards that are in accordance with their measurements. Usually the Bounty manager of a project is an outside party to the project but sometimes there are some bounty managers who are from the team of a project.
