You have focused on merit since joining the forum and I take it positively. That means you are willing to rank up your account. This desire will one day lead you to a higher rank.

What are the limitations of Bitcointalk forum Huh?
1. There is a limitation of sending PM to other members.
2. You can't post an image.
But these are the temporary limitations. When your rank goes up this limitations will be disappeared.

Besides all the links and pieces of advice given you here, the best way to earn merit to the best of my perspicacity will be to make posts with the intention of making someone else benefit from your knowledge without expecting anything in return. Your posts should come from a place of comfort and ease with research marks on them.

On the other hand, I'm one of the few who believe that merits aren't completely bestowed as a mark of post quality in the general sense because what makes for quality to User A won't be for User B or C or D. So, every individual user has what constitutes quality for them. It's a subjective issue. However, concentrate on my first paragraph and you should be alright.

BTW I m trader since a 6 years. So could I able to make TA analysis for other here ? If yes, I can do a best job.

Thank you nd appreciate your response !
Please make your replies in one post by using quote. You just posted 5 times in a row which is considered as spam. Seems I didn't include the thread about how to create a high/good/constructive posts and proper quoting. You can start by stopping what you just did and learn how to use bb codes. The guide is in the post above. Hope it's helpful.

Hi 11Revenger11, welcome to bitcointalk!

Merits are units introduced to tackle spam and make high quality writers differ from spammers. Therefore, the forum requires a minimum amount of merits from its users for them to start acquiring ranks.

Read these:

Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit

Thank you for your quick response dear. I tried to search those topics using search bar but it takes long time though. Thank you again for sharing these!

Hi 11Revenger11, welcome to the bitcointalk.org family.
Already enough has been said on how to earn merits and rank high here. I will add my few cents here, never lose patience if you are not getting merits. Try to post quality contents and for that best is to read and analyze posts that are getting merits. This will definatly be a big help. Good luck

Do not let how to get  merit to be your target if not you will lose focus . Let your target be what you have to offer the forum.

I completely agree with you, a purpose of this forum is allow each user express themselves freely and share perspectives based on different exposures, thinking and mindsets on majorly bitcoin related topics and then other topics. If a user like me find your post or comment beneficial to me in some way i may decide to give you a merit.

So IMHO there is no fixed way to earn merit other than to be of benefit in your contribution to someone through original and well composed post and comments in the forum.

You don't need to focus on earning merit as this is not merittalk.org but bitcointalk forum. You have to change your goal right now to read, study and share then meritd will find a way to you. To start doing that, read the rules and where to start. That also depends on what you wanted to learn first. I'll provide you some links to read. What are the limitations of Bitcointalk forum Huh?
This forum is not about merit, it is about posting about bitcoin and crypto generally, merit is just an aspect that makes this forum posts to have quality and nothing more than that. Which means you will need to learn more about bitcoin, check what good posters are posting, learn from them, make researches and enjoy your interaction on this forum. Your posting quality will determine your merit, the more you grow the more you will know more.

Welcome to bitcoin mate. The first thing you should do is to read the rules and guidelines. It is written there about what is merit and its purposes.

Well regarding about merits, you can get merit naturally by making high quality post that contains useful information to help others but other than that you can actually get merits by posting in a thread where they give merits. You just have to follow their rules. I've been a newbie and it really helped me.

I will give the opportunity why don't try posting here, this can help you in getting merits.

<…>
There are literally hundreds of topics on the matter here (search around on Beginners & Help and you’ll see), and even some options to practically guarantee earning a bunch with just a few (albeit interesting) technical skills that can be obtained with a bit of effort. Regardless, the prime method is simply to create interesting enough content here and there, and that accounts for things like questions, answers, information, criticisms, helping others, well-versed opinions and so forth.

<…> If you have a close look, you will recognize that merit is produced by the founding users of Bitcointalk and their close circle. <…>
Not really. There are many Merit Sources that are rather newish to the forum, being just two or three years old, with likely lack of connections to anyone previously here.

Earning merit is not easy. A user can give Merit to others only if he has received Merit himself first. If you have a close look, you will recognize that merit is produced by the founding users of Bitcointalk and their close circle. But still you can have it if you have high quality posts and replies on a regular basis.
boss, what you wrote is not newbie knowledge. This post is your great initiative to tell the others that you are not newbie.

merit is for quality post and somewhat posts are made with efforts from posters. Sometimes people give merit not because the quality of post is high.

merit does not relate to merit cycling or exchanging by its design.
If you want to maximize your rank, then you need to increase two statistics which are listed on your profile:
  • Merit, which is gained by making good posts.

If you make ten thousand posts in a week, your activity will be capped and you will still be a Newbie. If you make ten thousand useless posts over any period of time, you will gain zero merit and you will still be a Newbie. You can rank up only by making good posts consistently. It's quality over quantity.

When trying to write quality posts, a lot of people act as though they're writing a book report for school: putting facts that we already know into their own words. Nobody wants to read that, and you will not get merit for it. Moreover, the length of your post and the quality of your English are only minor factors. In trying to write a quality post worthy of merit, you should offer new ideas, personal experiences, or perspectives that other forum users will actually find new and interesting.

First of all read all rules. Pay attention to it, and observed here in forum. Merits are associated or important unit of forum, this represent the outlook of some members here about your post and replies. A member received merit if he/she did a good post or interact, contributed something useful here.

Why did you ask about merit first?
I don't tell you exactly what you should do but I give you three topics to read. As a newbie, you have many time to read because you have limitation of 6 minutes between two posts.

Three topics above contain the information you asked for and even more. If you feel like that are too long to read, it means you will not deserve to earn merit.
