The only real way you can tell is by checking out the ICO. If the ICO is poor and there is a lack of communication / anything that seems fishy, keep away from the bounty / investing. There are so many projects now.
In most cases bounty is scam if ICO is scam. So if developers are unable to clearly articulate a valid use case for the token, token’s developers are anonymous or unknown and if project's roadmap is overly-optimistic probably it should be scam and you should avoid it.
It is certainly difficult to determine in advance the scam bounty. But look at the team, the funds that participate in the ICO. Already at this stage a lot becomes clear. Save your time.

Yes, bounties are excellent opportunities, but I think the major problem is being careful about scams.
To choose good bounties to get involved in, you have to look at the project and see if:
1. it fits your needs for bounty-related aspects;
2. the project is good and will have success.

We never know what kind of modus other people used in order to trick other. For me it is easy - I just go with, lets say around 50+ bounty campaigns, and I assure myself from the beginning, that some of them will be scam, so by doing that - it is easier a lot to go.
In my opinion A scam bounty can be very deceptive in that it appears to be worth participating in - as the bounty hunter would have taken a look at the white paper and carried out a number of checks. But it is easy enough to produce words on a document, create a half decent website. I advice we need to check out things such as whether they have attended any summits or blockchain tech conventions - real photographic evidence of their booth, etc.

I think doing your due diligence before participating in a bounty program is as equally important as investing in an ICO. After all, you're investing precious time and effort of yours to participate in bounty programs. So, I believe it's important to research about the company and the credibility & strength of the team first, and see whether u trust them enough to deliver on their word. Don't simply participate in bounty campaigns just because they are promising high rewards in return. As the saying goes, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is."

if the bounty communication is a week then we can assume the bounty programs is about to scam or else ready to scam we should join bounty programs only with the reputation manager then we can feel safeguard
The most important is to see the team members and check them out. Second most important is design. Is it stolen from somewhere or it is original? Most of the scam projects are not very good in details.
Its very difficult to determine of the bounty is a scam. However, dig some research in order to know if the bounty has a higher percentage of sucess. Also join to the bounty that has been manage by a credible bounty manager.
Perhaps the most obvious part of ICO scams is when you couldn't see the team members profile on the internet or if you can detect something wrong with their personal data
Read whitepaper and check all information given in the website. If you see anything Suspicious mark it as a scam project. The real project will always show the real information.

You are a translator and yet you did not understand what you had translated? Upon reading and translating, you should have already knew at that moment that the project and the team behind that are nothing but a scam. Always be careful on participating in an ICO.
