It is very difficult. You should carefully study the project, in order to find a good coin for investment. Sometimes I spend a few days on it.

We all want to know which is the one, that will make us $rich$…so what is left here is just strategy, I diversify in cryptocurrencies that have a strong project behind, I buy 1000 to 10000 units when they are under $500 per 1000 or 10000 units…and I hope one will make it all the way, I purchase regularly…and I will wait a few years for them to mature hopefully…if I ever sell because I think this is it, I will never look back. Now for my pick GOLEM - SIACOIN because of the projects…LTC because like everybody says it is bitcoin 2.0…yes you would only get about 10–13 per $500 investment…but some of the news I have read gives it a lot of potential…probably not 10000x but has the better chance to actually make some $$$$.
Probably and the thing I always advice to those who wants to invest is to look at the white paper. The white paper contains every details of the coins we wished to invest. The objectives of the coins the purpose and its goald are written there. There are also the organizational chart of the coins are wrote there. So it is a good reference in determining the good coins.

When choosing a coin or token check for the social media community such as facebook, twitter, telegram, reddit etc. Check the plan of their coin on whitepaper. Check also the people behind the coin and their background on their linkedin or if they have twitter. By doing this you can sort out what is a good coin or token to invest.

I think that you can not know which tokens will grow in price, and which ones will fall, you can sell half of the tokens at once, and leave half of them and see what happens to them, because it is almost impossible to predict the behavior of the new token
According to my way of thinking, Firstly we read all the project rules and follow all the instructions then work according to the policy and then we can assume this coin is good. And also if you plan to invest on Ico then you should read carefully the platform they have and determine whether their roadmap will be successful in the future.
I think that coins are good if the coins is created by trusted and experienced development team. Read their whitepaper, website, and community. Pay attention in what concept they will offer to investors.

I agree, once you invest and get a feel for the process, you start to gain experience and from there on can invest in a better way.
It's easy, just pay attention at the developing of the coin, if the dev team is convincent, then jump to the train. Don't forget to pay attention to the community too, about what they think about the coin on the future.
