Making new friends is hard especially if you are a shy type of person. I myself is having a hard time making friends because I am too shy and most of them don't find me interesting because I am too quiet and they see me as an unapproachable person because of my look. So I advice first is to smile. Smile as if you knew them in a long time. With that genuine smile, they will see you as a happy person and they may find you interesting.
very easy. ask and be nice and always respect one another. and do not be stingy ..

maybe you should be open and kind to your friend so he will not stay away from you
with mutual help maybe friendship will become more attached and will be brother

Just be yourself and be friendly, try talk to them, and mingle with them, and if you are new to a group, behave and be sociable to them. Helping them with their problems makes a good start of making friends.
The most important in a friendship is that you have to understand the character of your friends. Make them as comfortable as possible to be in around of you and be nice to them.
Dont choose who want to be your friend and dont be shy
Active in various communities, active in social media, meet with many people on various occasions such as when watching concerts and festivals. that's really fun
