Modern technology has made it easier to treat domestic and industrial waste water. But it can be expensive to treat huge volumes of water. So the industrial units sometimes give lame excuses and dump their waste water directly in to the rivers and lakes.

For me to manage water pollution, first is to have self-discipline. If we are discipline we know the right thing to do. Then second, is to be responsible enough and be aware of the our surroundings. Help in the community in cleaning the estero , rivers and the like and the best is to support the programs of our barangay about this. Then third is to educate the children of our future generation by always reminding them on how to maintain a clean place esp those involve water sewage and everything. People must help together to manage water pollution. This is one of the problem that the world has. Because people are just throwing their waste anywhere , like in the river , those community that lives near the river area throws their garbages in the water. They also throw their other kinds of waste in the water where the water turns to pollute. Just like in the sea , those people who live nearby the sea just throwing their waste in the water , where plastics are the number one waste to pollute the sea. People must have to desegregate their waste and throw in a proper garbage can or garbage bag.
