How to solve water polution
1. Do not flush pills, liquid or powder medications or drugs down the toilet.
2. Do not dispose of household chemicals or cleaning agents down the sink or toilet.
3. Run the dishwasher or clothes washer only when you have a full load.
4. Minimize the use of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers.
5. Use the minimum amount of detergent and/or bleach when you are washing clothes or dishes.

There's nothing you can do about it, if a single person didn't contribute to pollution, a hundred will be. Same as the factories, they pollute the environment and not just the water.

A massive government campaign against pollution is the only solution to this. They are the only authority who can make changes.
The only thing we can do is to boycott some products who we know doesn't have any plan to clean up, like the fast food chains who doesn't have proper sewage. The more we didn't eat in their restaurants then the lesser they will wash their utensils.

Be vigilant in your community or your surroundings. Report institutions or individuals who throw of their wastes on rivers and do your part also, proper disposal of garbage would help our environment.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Discipline starts with ourselves. Cleaning our surroundings, proper waste disposal and planting more trees are the best way to solve water pollution. We must also make actions to help save our mother nature by teaching and reminding others. And report any illegal doings that will destroy the nature.

This sounds so easy yet the hardest thing to do. Why? Its because water is everywhere and it can carry all the wastes we put in the ground to the rivers and seas. As of now we had a lot of trouble with plastics and other types of chemical wastes. Some toxic wastes while being carried away to the seas is eaten by the fish which is also eaten by us. And the pollution goes on in that cycle. So what can we do? Maybe we need more information campaign and strict laws on garbage disposal. Maybe this could help.
