Absolutely, in addition you should also keep your private key safe from others. Also it will be necessary to get a spare wallet to safeguard your coins and just be careful about some strange emails that do pop up sometimes in your inbox.
Exactly, because the new tactics on scamming other people, is by going thru some strange emails. Do not open easily emails, especially when the sender is unknown, it may contain potential virus to access your wallet.

This is strange, but the most reliable way is to write the password on a piece of paper and put it under the keyboard)) Because any computer can be hacked.
A pretty good idea: D Backing up data is very important. Make sure the place is safe. Btw, storing a private key and accessing other data on a computer really doesn't matter if we are able to avoid phishing and other dangerous websites. Be careful with your clicks, don't open websites that you don't know. It's better to bookmark a website that you visit often, especially those related to cryptocurrency.

The problem of storing your coins is very serious. I keep everything on several addresses, as well as bought a cold wallet and have no regrets.

This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.

But when you transferring it to your public wallet, you will need to use the password or private key too, not different.
My suggestion is we can use more secure wallet than just an online web wallet.
At least you need to use the wallet that not requiring you to input your seed or key every time you need to transfer your coin or tokens.

Use or accessing your wallet on just a limited time to prevent on possible phish attack. And install antivirus on your desktop computer to scan your applications, because maybe some malicious file attached and can access your wallet.

Protect your wallet so that it doesn't crack very important. Many people lose digital assets in their wallets. I have used Ethereum based Dopets very safely. I use not only one wallet, but I use several wallets to store digital assets. To ensure you must be able to save the password for the password correctly.

For each project in which you invest, make a separate wallet do not store the private key on the computer and never give it to a third party. Be sure to install the extension on Google chrome ( EtherAddressLookup) it will protect you from phishing.

You can use the offline wallet that we know by the name of ledger nano, with it you can safely store all your assets offline, provided you can not remove it, or destroy it, because if it happens then all your digital assets will vanish. But the positive part you will be much safer than hacker attacks
You should get and buy your own ledger in order to protect your wallet . Do not let anyone know your wallet keysto avoid hacking . Keep it private .

The wallets and the transactions are anonymous and that's a benefit because like that the transactions are harder to track. So keep your private key somewhere safe ,and if you really want you can write it on the paper and don't keep it on the computer because it can be hacked.

Wallets with low transaction costs are indeed very vulnerable to hacking. However, if we are careful in keeping the password properly, losing coins will not occur. I am an Ethereum-based wallet user and until now there has been no hacking.

Phishing sites and encrypted Trojans in links are becoming a major problem for cryptocurrency owners. The only thing you can do is always stay alert and always check the address bar and trust only trusted sites.

we can not hide our public keys as we have to use it many times. Important thing is to keep the private key on a paper instead of keeping it in computer or gmail account. Do not open the unidentified links from unknown sources.

As long as you keep your private key away from eyes of the public I don't think you will risk losing your tokens. Avoid using your private key to access your account and if possible try to install metamask and always use it to login to your account.

Rule #1 : Don't be greedy
People who actually got hack/scam is normally due to greed, if you are expecting too much free lunch from the world (Free lunch do exist like Airdrop), you will be the main target

Then, follow by no clicking suspicious link, taking extra care of your devices, 2FA (Is quite a strong protection there), no giving or sharing your private key with anyone (Even your best friends)
