The best way to protect your online wallet is to bookmark the legit url. Because if you don't then you can be a victim of phishing sites. And always look for the green lock beside the http. It means the site is secure.

Well this is a concern for many people as hackers seems to have improved in what they do and have gone miles higher in their hacking game, for you to stay safe from this group little effort is required form your side, avoid frequent log ins into your wallets, it makes it easier for the hackers to pick your keys.  do not share your private keys with anyone, you just never know who will e aking advantage of it. there are safer options like using hardware wallets, which can guarantee the safety of your wallets

Best tip is to secure your accounts and wallets through 2fa which has helped me in many ways ever since I joined this vast cryptocurrency world. The fact of the matter is that many hackers and scammers can easily access your wallets if they don't have advanced security in place which is why I recommend using hardware wallets or paper wallets which are way more secure than online wallets.
This is the most and fastest way to lose money. My friend was found to be unsuccessful after receiving a fake website and logging in using the private key. Afterwards, the money in the wallet was quickly transferred. So be sure to be careful about phishing websites. Too dangerous.

I use mew to store tokens and now many hack cases are hacked but we can minimize the chances of being hacked by storing our key well and not telling others, we can also save lots of tokens in one wallet and stored in some wallet

I have not done anything specifically on my wallet. so far too well, because I'm sure, the wallet created and used to store crypto is very safe and is already created to protect its users from hackers.
The wallet has ability to protect the users from hackers but if we are not supporting it then its nothing.
We need to aware about hacker and do something that will not get us to difficult like pasting private key in phising website or unknown device or something else.

To protect your wallet from hackers first don't go in the phishing sites and don't give your private key to others.

many thieves are trying to steal our wallets and it seems so hard to stop so I think we should be more careful to keep our key and not save too much of our coins in one wallet

Or just spare a little amount of money to buy hardware wallet, seriously it is so good and i wonder why a lot of people don't buy them already, you don't have to worry about private key anymore if you have hardware wallet and it is not hard to use you can also store some other coins there.

The way to prevent hackers from doing well is not networking. Create a wallet in a networkless environment, and then transfer tokens to the wallet so that your private key is secure and does not appear in the network environment. Hackers cannot track it.
It is the best way to keep large amounts of coin and long time. Just don't lose the computer or encounter unexpected problems in life, this way is almost absolutely safe.

I think the best way tp protect coins is to use ETH wallet -MEW with Metamask, and to create so called cold wallets, which you use only for storing some share of your portfolio, and to use a flash drive for keys.

The best option is to use your wallet on another computer. For example, buy a cheap laptop

Whatever your goal, protecting your wallet and making sure it is safe is the most important first step for better protection. So before you think about strong passwords, personal communication and secure file deletion, you should be sure that your computer is not vulnerable to hackers / hackers or infected with malicious software called malware, such as viruses and spyware. Otherwise, it is difficult to ensure the effectiveness of your security measures. After all, there's no point locking your house if the robber is already in the house, and there's no point in finding the robber inside the house if you leave the door open.

Actually learn the ins and outs of wallets and private keys then if you really want to be safe then cold store those keys with a little bit of redundancy.  What will be neat is the inevitable decentralized cloud means of key storage but until then a printed out paper wallet backup with thumb drive storage is safe.

I use several wallets. I save the basic funds on the hardware wallet. to enter the reserve I use metamask. I plan to buy a separate laptop for offline transactions
i do use many wallets and separate my assets to it. i do not have hard ware wallet because i do not know how to use that one. but i can say that separating your assets to many wallets will help you not to worry even if your assets is not secure. you will lose only a little and learn a lot after.
