I use a separate computer and that computer only serves for the use of myethwallet purse. Also when I work I will never use myethwallet purse. Because there are many hackers can steal private lock my wallet

I like your position about working with wallets. As for me, I use myethwallet only at home because I know that my internet connection is saved.

One can protect the myetherwallet by making sure you visit the original website, do not follow any spam mail sent to you that may link to any phishing site. Also ensure to keep your private key very safe that only you can have access to it anytime. If possible you can as well document your private key, phrase words and password such that the book is well protected by only you.
Thanks.

To protect it,  I only login from bookmark link and make sure my device has active anti virus,  and I only login when I make withdrawal,  and to see the balance is not necessary to log in.

I protect my wallet by storing all access data on a device which is not connected to the www. And for absolute security, I've printed my private key

Frankly speaking if you are still using MyEtherWallet even after it facing so many issues in the last few months I won't feel bad if you end up losing your coins. Using a web wallet opens you up to various hacking possibilities whereas by using a desktop wallet you have control over your coins.

Yeah, well.actually its easy to make another MyEthereumWallet since to make sure a great security that you want. Basically, the most important thing is to secure the private key that you have in a highly secure place. Here in the world of crypto currency there are a lot of hackers here as they do it whatever it may happen, even how secured it is still have a chance but to make a great security users must be clever enough to avoid those hackers.

I suggest to use MEW offline.
You can buy a cheap laptop and use it always offline to generate transactions with MEW.
And use those generated transactions on the online PC to send ETH and tokens.
In this case your private keys will be always offline and safe...

The main thing is not to download suspicious files to your computer. It's better not to swing anything. At least do not download files to the computer from which you visit myetherwallet.com.And see the correctness of writing myetherwallet.com.To avoid getting on a phishing site.

You should only be using online wallets when you have no other choice, hardware wallets are still the better choice. But to keep your online wallet as safe as possible is not very hard. Just make sure that you never store your private keys online in a place where hackers can get to them. As long as no one can get your private key then they cannot get into your wallet.

Try not opening myetherwallet with Google. Only open via the correct url. Always encrypt your wallet using the keystore/json file. Copying/pasting your private key might lead to hacking as hackers are very smart and accces your clipboard.

how to protect your wallet myetherwallet.com Huh

1. BE sure that you are accessing the right URL. Don't trust Google/Bing ads on search results.
2. Use it only with EAL or MetaMask or Cryptonite. I prefer MetaMask
3. Never access it with private key, because copy/paste data can be easily scrambled.

Yes, I agree strongly with this suggestion that you gave and if these process are properly followed and the private key is also kept very tight, then you can be relaxed that your funds are safe in myetherwallet.

If you want to save your wallet you need to write the password on a piece of paper and put it in the case. Nobody will know it and can not hacked you because it is not on your PC. And never use your wallet in questionable bounty.

the only real way is to get a hardware wallet.
I suppose Metamask is ok, but it's just that, ok.

With hardware wallets, it is entirely secure, because the only way someone would be able to steal your crypto is if they get your key, your pin, and the actual device itself all at once.
They would literally have to break into your home, know exactly what information to steal, than bring it all together.
Yeah, that ain't happenin.

There's two you can get Trezor and Ledger, most people prefer the ledger (I have one) but both are very secure.
Prices are about the same too.

also, you can store other coins in there including nep5 tokens, and a bunch of other dedicated blockchain coins.
I found the price tag very much worth it.

You only need the browser plugin MetaMask , which makes the MEW safe enough.

By protecting my eher wallet I save my Wallet address and passkey in my USB device. That USB device is my personal use and no one in my family could access it. Also making sure that URL is correct. Never give nor share your pass key. Also to have a duplicate in case something goes wrong with your usb, you can write it in a notebook.

how to protect your wallet myetherwallet.com Huh

The most common method of phishing used to target MEW is by using similar looking URLs. So make sure that your URL is correct. Other measures include securing your password, private key and the system which you use to login to the MEW.
