Most alternative coins may disappear in the near future. People no longer trust new projects. They need stability, so they invest in the most popular coins
I do buy into an altcoins that is well published and many investors especially the big one buying into it idea and also invest in it! If a company has no fund to make good publications it means the developer may like the potential to drive the projects. I have bought into some coins by how there are published here without even read the white paper.
Let me ask you about what should I learn to know the future of altcoin. I heard some term like algorithm, dev and other. What factor which are make altcoin used by more people, i.e for trading, payment processor or others? For example, in my community most of people use dogecoin due to low fee. Any other factor than fee?
And....if new coin announced, how to see that coin maybe promising or not?

Look for the project with real world application which can offer something good and useful for a big community of people. Check for example PayPie and Viberate, they certainly look like good and useful projects and the fact that they are now traded for higher then ICO price is an indicator of success.
Most of altcoin will fail and dump hard in my opinion...because most startup will fail and only a few will survive. So you need to do a lot of research and have a lot of luck too and HODL
Altcoins are all unique answers to these problems. Many of them are niche products. For example, Monero appeals directly to people interested in privacy. Neo and Ethereum allow you to do your own IPOs by issuing tokens bought by the currency. Dogecoin is great for a laugh.
Basically, Bitcoin aims to be able to handle most situations. But altcoins can handle alternative situations.

I think high value of bitcoin will soon lead ppl to invest on altcoins more day by day with the hope of having next bitcoin cheaper. Best projects will go ahead.
Altcoin has a future for sure like bitcoin, If altcoin rising in the market i think there are more investment to come. Many users are now more knowledge about using their token probably. Sooner or later the price of altcoin will arise.
That's great when every users have knowledge about the coin or token they have, that's really what we need to have , a knowledge, before we buy a coin we need to know about the potentialof the coin.
There are multiple ways of deciding if an altcoin is good or bad. First you should check if it will live up to hype. There are many alt coins could not live the hype because they were unrealistic projects. There for you should always check if the project it self is doable. Another important thing to check is developer because if developer of coin keeps working to make new agreements and stuff like that coin will have more uses and it will worth much more then.

Each altcoin has an own value. So, we cant know all altcoins. The best way is that you find a potential coin and research it carefully. Then, invest in it.
in my opinion, a good altcoin is an altcoin who already had a working product, not a prototype and has a real-life use and clear and achievable roadmap and a huge community will define a successful project.

I see it still very promising as just like you see ETH, DASH, LTC before it becomes like today.
there are many altcoins that have the technology and ideas that they adopt as the basis of the utility. this is how you rate a project and try to investigate it. there are many altcoins that have no future or technology. I think everyone should try to look ahead, if the coin has a long concept. then I would be more interested to observe it and invest.
Some altcoin may have advantage that bitcoin doesn't have. That's why many ICO occur recently as they compete each other to be better than bitcoin.

No matter how may new and good features altcoins and fork coins have over bitcoin, Bitcoin cannot be replaced by any alt. That is a bitter fact for all the altcoin lovers who want altcoin to surpass bitcoins. Other than this, the future of altcoin is good and there is a lot of competition between the altcoins which is indeed good for all.
As like bitcoin ,Altcoin also have it's own power. Take Ethereum, it also survive as like a bitcoin. The price of Ethereum may low now,but has strong root.So it will not quite at all.Some altcoin will survive only for Short time,but Ethereum is the trusted altcoin as compared to other.
Many altcoin have great future coming, many altcoin will be used by million of people in all the world for their normal life, but even how it grow up, altcoin will never can beat bitcoin.
I would say watch the dev team,if the same guys are poping off on new coin every time i would stay away from it.Also reading white papper and thinking is that even posible or have any use for that coin

I think in the short term everything is possible. high altcoin price increases and the number of existing communities, making altcoin create a separate market. But in the long run it all depends on what will happen to Bitcoin. Can the altcoin community survive and compete with its predecessor like bitcoin ethereum etc?
In my opinion in the future we only have one crypto that can survive, if Bitcoin can solve the problem like the high transaction fee you mentioned, then it will be a cryptocurrency. Otherwise we should wait for another cryptocurrecncy that will replace Bitcoin.

I personally think that the crypto world is evolving each day and it's going mad I mean the ads are every where I think soon it will go mainstream
I have never thought of bitcoin going mainstream and altcoins to be the supportive system. All that I used to think of is the growth and the potential it has got to get implemented in various requirements. As the technology is getting used over different needs surely it'll last longer. When there is no competence the growth will not get exposed. Altcoins do the role of giving competence through the real time usage.Jump to:
