Using Altcoin as payment,so right now it's tough to use altcoins as payment,Ethereum and Litecoin have recently been added to many exchanges,which makes them more stable.Stability is a huge part of using altcoins as payment.Investing Altcoin also a great idea,it’s the wild west out there. Altcoin values fluctuate even more heavily than bitcoin. You might get rich on a surprise winner, or watch an altcoin die a slow death. Still, imagine if you had bought $100 worth of bitcoin a few years ago.

I have never thought of bitcoin going mainstream and altcoins to be the supportive system. All that I used to think of is the growth and the potential it has got to get implemented in various requirements. As the technology is getting used over different needs surely it'll last longer. When there is no competence the growth will not get exposed. Altcoins do the role of giving competence through the real time usage.
Probably most importan things is usefulness of the coin. If a coin brings something uniqe to market it will get attention and be popular. Crypto community is very experienced and smart now so they can see the true potential of coins and make their investments accordingly.

i think that they have a great future ahead! bitcoin is too overbought and this seems to be right time to buy cheap coins. I'm even planning on buying in the ico of Amor (amorcoin.org) which starts this weekend.
There may be a great future, but at the moment the market does not please us with surprises about altcoins and their cost. And why did you choose Amor? 
At the moment there are more than 1300 coins, this is a huge number, a huge part of them is rubbish, which is not backed up and will soon die out. Now a large number of airdrops, what is this even

There are a lot of things on which future price of any alternate coin depends upon. So many things take place in the background which also includes whale manipulation. But largely it depends on its concept and the development behind it. Look for coins that have good fundamentals and hard working developers.

When I first invested on altcoin -RISE.. I thoroughly check its background.. what's the pro's and cons..just like what you said as well.. But The only thing that urges me to invest because I can see that they have a unique platform and its Dpos as well . I've heard lot's of stuff about this but I investigate them one by one and join lots of forum as well ..
I really think that more than ½75 of altcoins will die somehow in sometime. There are enough coins to feed community. There are so many coins for same problems in same industries.

No matter how may new and good features altcoins and fork coins have over bitcoin, Bitcoin cannot be replaced by any alt. That is a bitter fact for all the altcoin lovers who want altcoin to surpass bitcoins. Other than this, the future of altcoin is good and there is a lot of competition between the altcoins which is indeed good for all.
I think that there is no way to see the future of the altcoins same as the bitcoin there are people that ask that question there are some bad post and good post about it but still bitcoin now is so very popular as of now no ine thought that the bitcoin will be this price so high wo would expect it i thibk that every bitcoib has a futurr and this may vary on the one that runs that particular coin

Yes, anonymity is very much appreciated. This is confirmed by the fact that now the price for DASН and Monero has grown significantly. This is completely anonymous coins. And if new alternative coins guarantee anonymity, then they will become popular

you can see if the coin is worth if the ICO's goal is promising and useful in the internet. like bitcoin, bitcoin can be huge investment so that this factor makes him promising. ethereum is altcoin but because of ERC 20 token that connected to it. the ethereum now has successful business in crypto currency.

In future most of the fiat currency will be replaced by the crypto currency so bitcoin demand will increase heavily so people will look for the alternative and cheap for bitcoins so other altcoins also will have bright future.But we can't say all coins will last longer so we need to invest on the good and best altcoins to get profits.In my view ethereum and litecoin are the best alternative to the bitcoins so invest more on these altcoins.

They have a bright future! But altcoin is a irritating term in my opinion, not every project is an alternative to the prime cryptocurrency Bitcoin. Ethereum, NEO, Lisk, etc are all platforms for example and some coins a more digital assets than a currency. At the moment Bitcoin is the bright star and every other project is just standing in its shadow, but crypto has come to stay and as more time passes "altcoin" market will become more and more independent from Bitcoin and get more recognition and appreciation.
Now this depends on which altcoin you are talking about it. For example, ethereum, ripple, nem, etc. altcoins I think they will be in existence in the future. Or I think that pundi, experty, dmarket should be given a chance for investing. But there is only one place in my eyes you will go for tokens such as the storm token, earth token, etc. That place is token's graveyard.
