Well first of all, i play gambling in a week, it is best for me, and i believe in this way, i couldn't be addicted in gambling, and secondly i always use limited amount in gambling, i have a idea which amount is better to use in gambling, i do only 2 or 3 bets in a day of the week, and in my 2 or 3 bets i win or lose but i never take risk more than it.
If you gamble away more than you can afford to lose, then you are probably addicted. If you can't find a time to quit and cut your losses, then you are probably addicted to gambling.
as simply as like that , i agree with your clear and concise statement.when you gamble still on the limit amount you should not have to worry to get addicted later.
those people is over-exert yourself, they know they cannot keep getting a win but still go for it however.

Well I think it depends on the amount of time you use for gamble, and many other factors of course.
If you spend almost all of your time gambling, then you could be addicted to it. Also it gambling prevents you from engaging other activities, it should be a good indicator. You said you spend almost all day on forex. If you are a pro, that could be normal, Traders spend a lot of hours on that activity, but it's ok if you are a professional trader, it's like a job, so it's normal. People spend most of their time at work.
If you are not a pro, then you must really analyze why you are doing it, and if it's starting to affect other aspects of your life.
Also, it's ok to listen to close friends from time to time, because they knew you before you started to gamble, so they are in better position to see the changes on you, and how it is affecting your life.
Basically all kinds of gambling addict, this is normal because the gambler had the pleasure myself when it could be gambling. the main things that make the addict is because they never had a victory so they think it's easy to earn money.
Keep in mind that online, one can always make money even though it might be relatively small. With that money, a gambler can still satisfy his gambling needs.
There would be nothing wrong when a gambler will be earning up to his satisfactory levels. But, due to their addictions they are not considering the real life expenses hence even they earn small they are enforcing family members to lead a life within that. The simple way to check this is : Keep the person in question away from his money and if he asks you money desperately and just is ready to do anything to get the money then he is addicted ! But since he knows that he has money on you, he would have the confidence to ask somebody else for a loan. These gamblers can be deceiving just so their addiction will be covered up. He might even tell you things like he need money for school or for his job. It's not that hard to construct a really good lie if you're desperately in need of money. This is true to other types of addiction as well. A drug addict can say that he's not using drugs anymore but when everyone's asleep and when no one's watching, he can freely use drugs and people wouldn't be all freaked out about him going back to using drugs.

It depends whether you are talking about online gambling or in casinos. Basically, people who haven't tried to gamble in casinos are the ones addicted to online gambling and probably soon they will start gambling in casinos because of the thrill. When they do that, they become addicted, especially when winning. When you see them online all the time and see that they are frustrated when they lose. Those are the possible things to see if someone is addicted.

Imo there's nothing wrong in playing for a long time as long as you can control yourself to stop gambling anytime then you don't have to worry about it.For your question I usually watch some movie or anime to avoid gambling, sometimes make myself busy to avoid thinking about gambling.

well if it's through online gambling, usually you'll know a gambling addict if you see his username logged in almost all the time you log in. it would seem that these people don't leave their seats and spends most of the day in from of the computer gambling their day away. if you go to a casino, you probably would see the same faces there most of the time burning money and that's how you spot an addicted gambler.

If gambling becomes a part of your daily routine, you're already hooked into it. Just look at the other types of addiction like drinking and smoking weed. They all do it every single day. Maybe not in a fixed time of day but they do it every day, mostly at night. Gambling addiction isn't so different to other addiction. It's like there's this thing inside your head that dictates you or forces you to gamble.
You should definitely seek help if you start to choose gambling over your family. Like, when you would rather bet on an online casino than to spend time with your family. I've never experienced this myself since I do things moderately so this is purely just speculation/observation.

When a person is addicted to gambling, he will tend to ignore the other things around him. The desire to always gamble will always been a top priority. We could lose other valuable things, not just money, if we got addicted to gambling.

IMHO, I always gamble with that amount which I can afford to lose.I deposit only 0.01btc per day.And I stop gambling on that day when my deposit balance got finished.Since gambling is so addicted, so we need to find ways to stop.ourselves from gambling.Some times I make a tour with my friends and go outside the city,it also helps me to avoid gambling.
I think people tend to be a gambling addict if they have already losing out of control for themselves like selling personal things just to satisfy his gambling needs and If his personal relationship with his friends family and loved ones are affected with no doubt he is already addicted in gambling

And also a person who would like to borrow money from other people, the fact he will gamble it to regain his losses. I am thankful that I don't have this problems for now.
Now, it's hard to spot an addicted gambler because we only gamble online and we are the only one who knows if we are addicted or not. I guess this will also help us not to be ashame with our actions but the risk is always there since no one will give us advice on what to do.As I posted this not applied for online gamblers but also real life gamblers. I had a friend in real life his into gambling, he's being to obsessed with it, the fact he will lend just to catch his losses. I remember when I came with him to a pawnshop to sell his iphone just to fill his addiction. So in the end nothing happened, he lost.
