Another great tips is to not get greedy

Set your target before buying and stick to it

I agree to this. When i started my friend told me to make sure to set a target. Target profit that will make you say you're ok with the gains minus the fees. If you don't know your target you might get lost in the game of trading

This is so true! Greed is powerful force though...  Undecided

"Never be emotional" - good advice, but as for me not possible  Wink

I think a newbie one should learn and learn, read every news about market, coins etc and try trading. Mistakes are inevitable, but these are our experience and that's ok. This is a long but really interesting way to make money!

Can someone explain why Bittrex is bad?
I am using it and I don't see why you don't recommend it?
I tried to register on Poloniex and needed to verify IDENTITY in order to let me trade but Bittrex I didn't need to do that to trade and to withdraw...

I am new to this world of cryptocurrency and mabey I missing something... Tongue

P.S.
I found it useful, nice simple list of tips for beginners. Thanks for that and keep it up. Smiley

Bittrex is definitely one of the best exchange out there. However, recently it has been suspending accounts without giving any explanation and the irritating wallet maintenance. However, it has the greatest volume/trade and that is the most important to trading. Right now, bittrex still have the highest customer base but a lot of exchanges are catching up.

Thanks for clearing that up, and for fast response. You definitely know what you are talking about.  Grin

You are welcome. I am just trying to help people. I was alone in crypto world for years and i have no one to relay too. Until recently where i happen to find my local country crypto telegram group and since then, i manage to know friends and they are very friendly to provide with a lot of information and discussions. I do hope that i help you too.
You are doing a great Karma as very few peoples have mind and thinking like this to help others without any reason I am also using bitterx without any problem as I recently verify my account and they enable all withdrawals limit without any problem they are still best and biggest in volume right now

First of all you need to chose a good trusted exchanger platform that has no negative reputation. Bittrex, cryptopia and liqui are some of them.you can start trading with small amount of bitcoin. its not problem.first try to trade with small amount then slowly try to add more money.good luck.
That is important. I also think it is a good habbit to check the coinmarketcap.com to see trading volumes. And also keep updates with the dev team's blog or twitter.

Planning to convert BTC to altcoins for the first time. Have been hearing good things about Changelly and Shapeshift. Which one do you guys prefer?

If i were to send BTC to changelly/shapeshift, but i set my transaction fee very low, maybe after 1 or 2 hours only get 1 confirmation, is it accepted by changelly or shapeshift? Or 0 confirmation is enough for them?

Also choose a trading platform which has a good reputation in the cryptoworld.
There is no point to spend hours in trading if in the end, you get stuck when you want to withdraw your coins.
A few month ago, it took me 27 days to withdraw some btc's from a trading platform!
We really do the right strategy. for a beginner then do the analysis and looking for various information about altcoin is a must. find out how the coin will be distributed and what are the targets to be achieved. it will determine how the final result will be obtained. someone who has a strong desire I think can be a trader. A trader is someone who often performs an analysis to know the results / how a coin moves in the future. Because for a trader it will determine the results to be achieved later.

All tips and inputs are well shared to people who want to start trading alt coins. Indeed I can really agree that choosing where to invest alt coins as well needs a lot of research and readings from the internet, blogs and forums to know more about it before trading. Make sure that you join a well established alt coins and has been believed by many. Make sure to not join scam alt coins as well as many opportunist are around.

Biggest thing is keeping a reserve of BTC available to buy things....Alts usually dip during BTC Rises so when you buy the BTC at a high you don't really save. I always make this mistake.

Of course, study first. Learn how to do it how to get here. What to do when buying. And much more. Because this is a serious matter because the money involved here. It is better to practice trading first so you will know if you can increase the capital to give you.
