Try to explore the bounty thread and from there you can find different campaigns that are running and they need people to advertise their ico's and the payouts that you will earn will be your capital to start trading. There is no need to use your own income because there is a lot of ways out there to earn bitcoins, Just research or explore more of this forum.

If you want to do business with a small capital then what? Then take the time and effort to write articles for bitcoin campaigns. They will pay you some money to spend a little capital then invest in bitcoin. Try every day to get good results, save money.

In my own opinion, You do not really need to use your own cash or monthly income to invest in bitcoins. Try to work on bounty campaigns then when you earn enough coins after they payouts then that is the time you start to learn trading.
Earning money and that too from different kind of campaigns is really a very good idea. There are lot of people who are earning a very good amount of money just by posting in this forum. Moreover, you can start earning by joining signature campaign or bounty campaign in order to have more money. After that, you can invest all the money which you have along with this earning so that you may be able to do well. 
First of all, Purchase some Bitcoin or relative Crypto via any exchange by investing some USD.

the good thing about trading bitcoin and altcoins is that you can start with the very smallest amounts that are even lower than 1 cent.
so don't listen to anyone, just start trading and learn with your small amount because if you invest big and lose you will lose hope.

Trading websites have got their own limitations in the process of trading volume. In certain exchanges particular volume of amount need to kept as reserve and only after that can involve into trading. just study about trading first..and your strategy to start in small amount is ok that because you are newbie for trading...or else just buy a cheap coin first and wait for the month or year to grow your coin you bought then put in trading...and start to trade you see you start in trading in small amount?
i am a newbie also in trading , i trade altcoins, i started at 0.01 btc and so far so good i am gaining small profits. in my understanding about trading is buy low sell high , choose an alts that you think that have the potential to pump, doing some research may help before you buy.
Yeah me too, I am also a beginner in trading and so far i enjoy it.. i started on a .001LTC and little by little i gain profit. Though sometimes iv'e got loss due to the price decreasing but after that I get my lost again in a short period of time..just look for the altcoin that have a low price and then sell when the price pumps.

I think you need minimum 500$ for safe trading.Divide the money into different portfolio.
Don't put all your apple in one basket.
Invest in different coins and use technical indicators to decide when to buy and when to sell.
And at last most important thing is learn to control your emotions.
0.50 Btc is a Good amount to start trading but be careful about trading bitcoin because if you don't have complete knowledge about Trading then you can Lose your Money. So My suggestion is that Do Trading but Carefully. 
With small amount you should buy on ICOs which have good project , low price and the most important you have to hold it a long time until the price í increase

I started at a small amount on trading long time ago I was buying at low price and selling bitcoin at high price can that be called as trading ? I heard about HYIP but i don't think HYIP is legit I heard alot of negative about HYIP that they're just good at start and then they will disappear after a long run. but still im doing that buying at low and then selling it on high.
HYIP can be seen quite often around, and people getting trapped into it usually circulate negative statements around. Trading is a simple process, here the user needs the mentality to experiment, the amount is just a base. One get profited depending on the capital investment.HYIP is something that you think and feels that is too good to be true. Most of these scam sites and scammers will tell you that you can yield a very big amount of gains with even little investment in just a short period of time. Come to think of it, where in the world do they get the money or invested that turn your little capital to high yield earnings? It is not making sense at all because if with that little amount they can make it big, they might just as well going to do it and not offer it to other people.
It is a matter of common sense that why you are going to believe those scammers if you already know they are not making it for you. Like you said here, if they can make small amounts to the big ones, then why are they offering you ?
They must have changed theirs and become rich.

I have not received such a compliment for quite long now and it makes me even more driven to comment with substance here in the bitcointalk community and not just be like anyone else who are just so concerned with their post counts And about HYIP, like your said HYIP just want to scam our money and especially, in present, this field has changed to new form, you can see we do not have much website or spammer, ref post about HYIP in this forum recently. I have see there are many scammer transfer to ICO, cryptocurrency (pump group - a Ponzi form), airdrop ... So, be careful when join in these fields, there are many scammers and always ready scam us.

If you want to trade with a very small amount of money then you should develop or focus in acquiring knowledge first before thinking of risking money in trading because the money is not a problem in trading because even with a small amount of money you can make a thousand dollars if you have good knowledge so that is what you need to focus first.

I think much better to invest in a small amount of money to invest bitcoin until you could be familiar with the trend of trading so that you can just add a little bit more of fund for trading if you think the price value of bitcoin will gradually being higher.
if you have a small amount i suggest do research on ICOs and invest in what you think can have great future.

As far as starting of trade is concerned, I must say that if you are planning of staring the trade with small amount of money then you have to be very much careful while making decisions.
