I think there is a good side of trading small amount of money - just for practicing. When you execute some strategies and find winning ones, that is ideal because if you experience losing trades, it will be not that hurting

You can start by depositing just only a small amount of bitcoin for example 0.001 by that you can experience how to trade with that amount of money use that to know the system and how trading works I think for 1 week learn how to buy and sell and the right time to do it and after that you should deposit now a big amount to start real trading with huge profit.

If he want to start trade for making money then it is too much smaller amount and he will only waste his time and will not much money while if he want to start the trade with small amount only to learn about trade then he is clever and will not lose his money in the phase of learning.

trading with a small amount is good but don't expect that you get high. Its not bad for starters to trade a small amount try to look some coins that getting low then trade that coin and wait for pump for next days or next month.

This isn't the answer that you're going to want to hear but if you only have a small amount of money (like less than $2k) I would highly recommend learning first and saving money. I wouldn't invest in bitcoin until you have like $5k to spare, and you can afford to lose it all. In the mean time, I would read up about trading. Learn about technicals and fundamentals. You can also practice "demo" or "paper" trading. www.demoinvestor.com is one way to do that, and there are other apps out there that let you simulate trading.

yeah altcoin trading is better for lower investment if someone want to invest their in low amount in trading then they can invest their money or bitcoin altcoin because altcoin price is very much lower and anyone can buy or invest in it.

And for a starter, this is the best thing to do. He needs look for those coins that are has very low price and that is what he need to do, learn the road map of that coin so that he will know if that is something that will be profitable in the future. But everything is hard, the best thing to do for him, is to get a trading mentor.

Start with a small amount (0.01) and try and grow from there.

Use a reputable exchange such as bittrex.

Steer clear of poloniex - it's awful. They seem to have major server problems whenever there's an uptick in the market and their margin trading feature is 'irregular' (see fraudulent). Use at your peril.

If you are new to trading then its better to gain a experience with demo account as there are many trading sites that offers demo account and give you unreal funds to learn how trading actually works and after gaining good knowledge and experience you can start trading with real money but make sure that you invest only a small capital at initial stage.

Just invest 0.01 btc and buy any older coins like Ethereum,Monero or Decred as it would be safe for you.Set a target of around 5% or 10% profit and as soon as you reach this profit,then take back your ijnvestment and reinvest.once you gain experience and want to try new coins,you could buy them in Bittrex exchange as most new coins are listed there.Poloneix is also a good exchange.

That is not really always the case that you will earn 1 bitcoin every week for just 1 bitcoin capital. You can't just predict what altcoin to invest your whole bitcoin and earn 100% profits every single week. Even winning 10% a week trading altcoin is kinda tricky to achieve when you don't know what you are doing.

If I have 1 bitcoin now, I should not trade it right away, I will need to train myself trading first before I start one.

If you want to start trading in small amount only you can earn also but you cannot buy more altcoin with that price I think 3-5 altcoin you can afford to buy. For me if you want to start trading I think you need big capital like 1bitcoin is good to start I think you can buy 10-20altcoin with that price. And for sure your will earn bitcoin everyweek because there's one altcoin for sure will pump .
