The best way for me to stop overthinking about anything is to try to analyze all the information that is being given to me.  Keep in mind, not putting too much energy into making a decision that is not very important.
If you over think about something that does not bring any type of value or worth to your life than simply move on. If you get a bad feeling and your brain is even trying to reason with you, chances are that you are right and should not move forward.
Overthinking can be good and bad depending on how you look at it.

Overthinking will definitely make yourself more stressed. The way to control it is just ignore those disturbing thoughts, and get back to being optimistic.

overthinking is fine... the problem is overthinking while not being productive. start a business, then sit back and overthink every possible outcome. its like eating cheese burgers while jogging, it's all good.. but stop jogging, and pow you're a fat ass.

yes, positive thinking and praying is the answer. anything in excess is not good. so always be kind to the future, and always optimistic.

Put yourself out of the box and make some space on your zone. Do things that makes you feel better and energize you as you forget that fact cause you to think over, like trrating yourself, make an adventure or go out with you buddies. This things helps a lot.

I just sit back and remember that life is meant to be enjoyed and that I don't need to stress every little thing.

Just remember, if something happens then it already happened. There's no point in stressing it. If you can fix it, then try to fix it. If you can't well then there's nothing you can do about it, just use it as a lesson for next time.

Nobody's perfect we all make mistakes, and learning from them is what makes us smarter and wiser!

Overthinking has been a big problem in most of the peoples life. Gives you a negative attitude, affects your relations with friends, family etc. How can you possibly stop yourself from overthinking when probably you have no control of what to think?

Find space and time to clear your mind. Some people call that meditating. Silence is underrated. Focusing on your breathing will help you to stop thinking (thinking words anyway), having the patience to sit and be in silence is another thing altogether, takes practice.

I'm a over thinker person and once I over think I'll think of the worst, there is this one scenario when I over think then me and my bestfriend argue about it. Like I always tell him that I can't trust you because I can't see you, I can't see what's your doing for the whole day maybe your lying and I know that those things made me hurt him a lot Sad I know it's not right to overthink but I just can't avoid it. Because when I overthink strikes a person it will result argument.. So once overthinking strikes me I'll try to avoid to talk to that person and let myself cool down for a bit.

Overthinking has been a big problem in most of the peoples life. Gives you a negative attitude, affects your relations with friends, family etc. How can you possibly stop yourself from overthinking when probably you have no control of what to think?

I personally say that I'm an over-thinker even my the ideas that comes in my mind I overthink whether that is beneficial or not for me. But What I did is i meditate and relax myself in that case it lessen my thinking. It is like refreshing your owns mind.
