Usually this scam project has a high bid, the team is also not transparent, most of the projects have gone well but in the middle there have been many irregularities. In detail, it can't be predicted about a scam, but then with research, it will only be obtained if the project is a scam.

Usually this scam projects nowadays are too good to be true and very deceiving that’s why you’re primary objective determining them if legit is comparing there team and dev to other project if they are not impostors.Second is reading there review, determining there site’s domain if its safe and not detected as virus by your anti-virus.And make sure they have the social site or any medium for their project updates.

If you want to determine scam project.  Make some research about it or gain some feedback first to clarify the situation of the project. And also try to make technical analysis through the team behind if it's trustworthy or not ', cause nowadays sometimes there are some projects that always have a fake team .  So be aware about it.

what I observe is that some scam projects usually have a team that is not transparent and many are disruptive in the course of the project and offer very unnatural offers because they only offer to attract investors

Most scam projects usually try to hide or not give away their team information. These also have copied website, white paper or other details from other projects.

I don't know how to know a scam altcoin project because I never invest in the new project. Some of my friends say that we need to research the project and read the review on the other site, talk with the teams so we can determine if the project will scam or not. But we still don't know how to determine the scam project, and we can only know after the teams are run away or not continue the project. And if you want to invest in the new project, my advice is to be careful and don't use big money because it's too risky even if the project was very good in the early stage.

This is still the hardest thing to do here on cryptocurrency. Its how can you distinguish legit ICO projects or scams. Do you know that even our higher ranks seniors are also becomes a victim of this? Scams have the same appearance, function and requirements as the legit ones and you should be alert on new projects all the time. Read comments and reviews always.
The fact is that many of the projects you, which as a result were led out by scammers, deceived quite a lot of the investor and other users of cryptocurrency. And this suggests that the scammers had really good training and experience. Thus, reading the comments and feedback can not get the right information.

One of the ways to identify if a particular scam project is to verify that the people who are involved, from creators to supporters, are not very clear about technical goals whose only subject is valuation, exchanges and related things! Also, exaggerated promises and many delays also makes you to stay tuned. With experience, you will know at the beginning whether the project is scam or not.

It is actually hard to distinguish whether a certain project is a scam or not. I guess it would be helpful if we'll check everything about it. Following their social media account is a helpful thing. We should do series of research for us to know more about the project. If there is a reason to doubt about it then we should do something to know even the future plans of the project.

I think the best way to avoid scam project is not to invest in early stage of ICO which those projects will give their investors a huge bonuses but the risk is much higher. Also, better to make more time in researching and following them on their social media account to find their real identity if they will participate in a various crypto events. The more their exposure on crypto events will have a higher chances that they are legit.

There may be several ways that I usually do to find out that this project is doubtful or scam. First, it is clear who is given the trust to be a bounty manager, at least an account that is adequate or not in a redtrust condition and at least has been a bounty manager. Don't be lazy to look at the website and read the whitepaper they make. No less important is to see who the team members are behind the project, usually the team members are registered on LinkedIn.
maybe we've tried not to get caught up in the scam project, but finally come back to the situation too. we know that at the moment there are many projects that are unsuccessful because they are in fact lacking in energy. I hope this situation will pass quickly

In my opinion, we can choose only one way to find scam project. It is watching what people saying about project. How responsive are managers with the comunity and payments with bounty hunters, e.t.c.
Just look for some information about project.

scam project is too hard to determine nowadays mate,  because  mostly nowadays always copying the classified ico's investment site such site design and etc just to obtain interested investors.  which is reason it's too hard to recognize until now.. If you're looking for good project i prefer you to choose in some projects that already listed on coinmarket cap to assure it's legit and no worries about the future.

There is not a single rule but a collection of pointers which you can call "red flags" which are revealed if you do some background checks on the project.such may be to verify team memebers, their code (if any),claims made by the white paper, promises, web address.the l8st is endless

You can find the scam projects in the scam accusation section in our forum if you can't find it there then you need to make deep research about the project team and ask the help from veterans then you can find that they are scammers or not.

Indeed money is needed. In the past I would say read whitepaper and make sure it is precise, check for the team members and advisors to know if they are real, check for the token distribution and suspect teams that hold on to the greater part of the token for themselves, check for authentic partnerships, check their social media outreach platforms but today, more projects with scam intentions appear more real than the real projects. It's a 50-50% chance now. Some fake project can go through the stress of making themselves look real and Investors suffers at the end while some good projects lack Investors or sponsors. So in the end it's pure luck.
