A project is a scam if the team members are fake, and sometimes they will say that they already reached the softcap even they just only started thier token sale, and another one  is no one is answering question on thier telegram group.

There are lots of things to consider as far as knowing if a certain ICO is a scam or not. One best thing you should consider first is their team and checking its legitimacy. Check for their profile and make an thorough investigation for each team member's profile.

So far I have used wallet nano-s with no problems and I feel the convenience of using it because it is not difficult to use. maybe I suggest buying it if you don't already have one

Money ,,, everyone need money.. Some people choose the right way some not..
I new in this crypto world.. N newbie in this forum.. You guys that have a lot experience must be know the sign of scam project..
Can you tell me ?

The most common way to scam among altcoins is premine, which is the mining of a large amount of coins by developers before the public release of the coin.
I'm not a coder, so if you want to know how to find out if coin was premined or not, you have to ask someone else.

Just don't be like those baddies. They aim to earn a quick buck by fooling others and there's no happiness on that kind of earning. They simply create an altcoin and becomes strong with the marketing but after that, they will commence with their original idea of scamming their investors. Knowing what altcoins are scam? you can by doing research continuously. Read reviews but don't be too gullible when you have read mouthwatering reviews.

Indeed, there are many factors that lead to a project scam. even though the project was created without scam goal. So many internal problems that sometimes occur in their management. It is difficult to predict for this problem, not only internal problems but outside as well, for example, regulations sometimes hamper the development of a project which is ultimately an indication of a scam.

The difference between a good project or not now is actually very difficult because indeed so many projects are able to manipulate the same thing from before and this is indeed very detrimental

To determine whether or not to scam a project in my opinion is quite difficult, because in the crypto world it is unique and rather difficult to predict, but there are several ways to analyze whether the project is good or not, one of which is that you have to look at the website, whitpaper and team behind.
of course it will be very difficult for us to make predictions regarding the scam project. we know that they make a scam project look like a project with very mature planning. we can be fooled.

For me this is one the criteria of the project are possible to scam . The information is incomplete like there's no whitepaper and others. Im looking for the team also if I did not their names and picture maybe that is scam. Im not saying all of I mentioned is 100 percent but that high chance possible for the project to be scam because if they have project who are really legit they will scared to show their faces and Identity in public.

Many friends have explained above, but often we also experience and have been trapped in the ICO scam and know that after the ICO runs for some time and then the translator or bounty manager tells us that the ICO is a scam. We are indeed difficult to detect, but when we know it is declared a scam, that's where we can learn about the ICO scam.

Make sure that the names  of the team of the projects are all legit that they could easily found in the Google specially there CEO that better if they have true experiences in handling ICO or other investments project before. Be sure that their project commodities are existing and should be feasible to the masses so that it could attract more investors too.

If we only make sure the names of the teams in the project, we could not get the right information. Although they are a real person, it doesn't mean they will have a legit project because they still need to prove to people that they have a good plan for the project and they still want to develop the project until reach their goals. Without giving any proves to the public, it is hard to get success in the future. And there are still difficult to know if the project will scam people or not because we don't know what will happen in the future.

hell yeah . names dont dictate if the project will continue or not  . names arent also the ones that we must look for when searching for a legit ico's because anyone can photoshop and edit it . what we should look for is thier contact info , call them and ask them about the project  . some scam ico's usually fail about this one . they put fake numbers and fake places on thier details  . they can easily get away with until someone trace it

to detect scam projects is very difficult because they have a website, almost perfect whitepaper like a real project and for that we thirst to do a lot of research and often read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
there is only an indication, yes they are publicizing it based on the research conducted. but they are like late in giving information that there is an indication of a scam from a project. if there is a rule for a project released in the forum and an audit of a number of people in the forum before the release, it can prevent the number of scam projects currently in existence.

Identifying a scam project is really hard and a pain in the ass. My first move is investigating its team and dev’s legitimacy maybe they are just impostors. Secondly is their website’s security and ui.Then their reviews and reputation in every social or mediums they have.

With all the scamming ICO's out there it is almost impossible to predict the ones that are legit. Every project out there claims to improve something, to be backed by big names in the *name_country*/*name_industry*, yet they have only one goal -> to get your KYC info (and propably misuse it) and to get your money.

I'd say it is propably the best to wait for now, until some laws or regulations take place about ICO's and the situation improves. Yeah, you will lose some good opportunities for investment, but is it worth to lose it all ?
