As with Palgin's other miners, my pool results do not match my local reported speed. Since changing to this miner on my home mining rig the miner reported speed is around 500kh higher than my previous combination of tpruvot/1080ti and klausT/1070ti. However the reported speed at hashrefinery for that rig has now dropped to 300kh lower than before over the 12 hour test period.

Previous combined speed: 6.3kh
HSRMiner reported speed: 6.8kh
Pool average last 24hrs: 5.95kh

Since changing back an hour ago I am starting to see my pool graph go back to the previous 6.3kh. I don't know what you're doing with these miners you release Palgin, but I have yet to find one of your miners where the local reported speed is anywhere close to the actual performance.

Note: Tested Neoscrypt only, 388.something, win7 x64, coin switching pool.

Hope you can get to the bottom of this recurring issue, your miner software is very stable and I like the simplicity of the console output. I also like that I don't have to use a different miner for each card. The fee is reasonable, and will be well earned once the pool workrate matches the locally reported workrate.

I nearly didnt add this last part as I'm less than confident in my observations here, but it may help so here we go anyway. It's hard to tell but the hashrate dips may be related to large difficulty changes when switching between coin chains. I have not tested the miner directly mining a coin. This may give you a direction of investigation, please bear in mind my lack of confidence in this observation though! It would need testing with more granularity than is available on my pool graph.

Quoting myself because sometime overnight the hashrate once again dropped down to the 1170 range, so adding the "-c 4" switch and setting intensity to 5 (-i 5) weren't the solution. If no one else is seeing this behavior then it must be a quirk of my system - Windows 7 Pro / SP1, 16GB RAM, AMD Phenom II x4 955 CPU, 1x GTX 1080 (for now - a second is one the way).

Hmmm, annoying, that.
How much virtual memory have you set? Make sure your minium value is at least the sum of all gpu mem combined.
Then have a look at cpu load. If it's close to 100% it means it might end up bottlenecking your GPUs. Then you're sod out of luck. Some miners struggle with a nvidia driver limitation. Optiminer Zero for example is just unusable if you have anything less than a quad-core cpu...

I have manually set the paging file on my Onda board because, well... 6 GPUs and only 4GB of installed RAM, but I assumed that with 16GB of RAM and just 8GB of VRAM I wouldn't have to mess with the paging file on this rig. This suggestion makes sense though and, besides, I will be installing a 2nd 1080 soon and that would have required tweaking the paging file anyway. So now it is set to 16384MB minimum and 24576MB maximum. Oh, and CPU load has been hovering just under 10%, so even the ancient AMD processor isn't having a problem here.

This being said, I can't replicate this behaviour because my system's a bit flaky, i.e. It will drop a card or the miner will crash every now and then... Tongue So I've set Speedfan to monitor gpu temps in the background. If one gpu temp drops and stays low for 10min, Speedfan reboots the PC.

that drop is due to miner fee .... when it ends there is small iddle time .... it was written somewhere here ....
and about -i ... yes ... i have intensity 3 only on my 70s ... 80ti and 70ti with no intensity set

That's what I thought at first, too, so I decided to let hsrminer continue running for over an hour longer and the hashrate didn't change - once it dropped down to ~1150-1170 it stayed there until I restarted it.

I'm currently trying -i 5 and -c 4 as suggested by dragonmike; as of now it's been running ~50 minutes so I should have an answer in the next 10-15 minutes.

EDIT - so far the hashrate is stable after more than 1 hour of operation so once again dragonmike saves the day!

EDIT2 - still stable at around 1310.

Hello! I am very fond of your tool. But I encountered some problems with it, unstable power? Was I wrong somewhere!

ah you dont talk about neoscrypt miner? Cheesy coz here are 2 versions of miner ... for HSR and fro NEOSCRYPT .... im working with neo only for now

No, I was also talking about mining neoscrypt. I just noted that your rig dropping from 8.5 MH/s down to 3 MH/s was similar to my GTX 1080 going from about 1200-1300 kH/s down to around 385 kH/s using that version of ccminer that sp_ may or may not have been claiming was superior.

In other strange news concerning hsrminer, reported hashrate once again drops precipitously after 1 hour of operation. This is really bizarre/fishy.

Also, there seems to be no difference in maximum hashrate whether intensity is set to 2, 3 or 4 - at least on my setup.

Just like clockwork (almost), another hour has gone by since restarting hsrminer and hashrate dropped from ~1310 to ~1170. Interestingly, I've been keeping an eye on the average hashrate reported by the pool and it has been hovering at 1174...

Sure seems like some shenanigans going on here.

Set parameters -i 5 and -c 4.
With my 5x1080 rig, I have pretty stable 1260 MH/s per card. No drops.
I'm at 80% TDP, +110 core, +500 mem (EVGA 1080 SC), P0 state.

Trying that now. I had -i 4 set, but nothing for the -c switch. I am running a slightly different OC profile - +140 core, +300 mem, 85% TDP - but that shouldn't affect results too much.

I have an issue with hsr. It shows two different errors. 'GPU0 - Invalid argument' and 'Api not available'. I am running 750 Ti. Anybody knows what could be the problem?

This miner doesn't support 750ti.. it needs to be a pascal gpu such as the 1050ti

Really? I thought 750Ti being CUDA version 5 it should support it.

Yes like LuckLurker said this only supports GTX 10XX Series cards.

tested exactly that version now ... instead of 8,5MH on rig with 6*70ti i have only 3MH ....

edited: and btw there is only 1 SP .... its SP_ ... no other person or group SP- doesnt exist .....

I'm fairly new here so I'm not familiar with all the famous and legendary personalities yet. No real harm done, though, so let's leave it at that.

Anyway, sounds like you got very similar results with your 1070Ti rig as I did with a single 1080; I'm guessing that version of ccminer isn't the one that sp_ is selling for 0.05 btc or whatever...
