I have no idea how he did it.

Maybe PD was doing something silly, like giving the same server seed to all accounts created in the same second. He could then create two accounts, reveal the seed on one account and use it to win on the other.

It will be something like that I expect, though I can't really imagine how such an exploit would be accidentally available.

At the end he robbed 2'000 bitcoins without any sort of block from stunna or other moderator of primedice.com, they think it was only a "lucky guy". However anyone from you have other proofs I'm also curious to "know" who is/was Hufflepuff but it seems we will never see him again.

If you are calling cheating bastard and exploit abuser smart then I can see you are envy him. I am not sure if you knew that he was the reason that PrimeDice cancelled Signature Campaign on our forum. So Hufflepuff indirectly robbed us all.

No of course, I am only curious to know where those bitcoins has been moved (during those days). Why should I blackmail ? It is not his fault, he was a "genius" and he "stole" 2k bitcoin.

I am almost sure that if there would be any other dice site that would also be vulnerable to this our huff would also attack the other site.

I'm curious and also interested to know the exploit, but maybe stunna can't reveal it because it will be possible to use it on other dice site. I know the bitcoin is lost "for ever" but maybe we can trace the addresses.

Why are you even bothering?They are lost anyways.They are likely sitting in someone else's pocket anyways.And I am not interested in who's.I am only interested in the exploit itself and again it was just my understanding.

I'm trying to check all the addresses and I started from this :  14iS2UvcLK33xkC1K1qL1dhEbp49aiNfNp   (thanks again stunna).  It is difficult to trace all the addresses, maybe someone can help me. However, for the question of the seed : race between accounts? Can someone explaine better?

OK I scrolled a bit through all of the topics pages but I haven't really found out how huff was able to retrieve the seeds before the bet.All I found is that it was some kind of "race" between accounts since he got the same seed on both of them (I don't remember exactly since stunna edited his posts) and it was more of my understanding how he did it.So can stunna or someone who investigated more explain with more details on how he performed the attack.

"profit" is the profit per bet, "total profit" is the cumulative profit on the account. The final cumulative profit is -1768, because 1768 is what he started with, and that's his net loss.

There's a longer story behind the bets. He was mad that nakowa had been winning so much which he was invested. He tried to withdraw but withdrew to the wrong address - and address that corresponded to a paper wallet - that he had thrown in the trash earlier. So he had to search through a dumpster to find the paper wallet. He found it after hours of searching, came back online, deposited it, then those bets happened. I guess those hours in the dumpster changed something in him...

I also omitted a whole lot of 'dust bets' between those 27 bets. He was pre-rolling a lot.


PrimeDice has a 1% house edge, the same as pretty much all the other crypto casinos. And he wasn't lucky, he was cheating. He knew is seed, so could see his rolls before betting. He was smart enough to make it look like he was just getting very lucky, because he would go through losing and winning streaks, but really it was all just a show. If he had just won and won it would have been too obvious.


I've been posting about the guy who lost a 7k BTC bet on Just-Dice. That's unrelated to the Hufflepuff incident, and really offtopic. Sorry.

I never saw this thread before. That "huge amount of luck" was more likely than at other casinos, due to the low house edge.
Hopefully Stunna was able to fully recover.

Most gamblers waste it in a day, maximum.

In isolation it may look like he was lucky, but it reality he made 27 big bets in a row, and had already said he was going to keep playing until he lost. So it's not all that unlucky at all when you see it that way - it was arguably inevitable.
