@presstab I backed up wallet, then delete everything, re-downloaded the wallet and re-synced. re imported the address, and still nothing. Ideas anyone?? still shows on the blockchain as being 66k HYP there...

After downloading and re-syncing this is my wallet version

Thanks to whoever filled my buy order at 202 at Cryptsy yesterday.  That was a pleasant surprise...thank goodness for auto-split!  Grin

I was able to get some at 200 sats Cheesy  Someone else's inability to sell over a longer time span is my gain and their loss... literally.

thanks for blocks info, yeah i think must up to 5 -6 k per block to catch some good profit in time and not loose resources

I bought my sdcard preloaded with lubuntu from odroid. I will probably end up paying the extra money to get an emmc soon though.  I don't see why you couldn't load an sdcard yourself with the operating system. You have just got to ask yourself whether it is worth it to pay $8 extra to save the hassle. Also I decided it was worth it to pay $4 extra for the heat sync (since hashing can heat the cpu up a bit). I leave my odroid on all day and it stays warm but is never hot.  I also got the wifi usb adapter, power cord, case, and a micro hdmi to hdmi cord. The whole setup cost me about $80 including the sd card.

To install HyperStake, it will be pretty easy. Just open terminal and copy and paste each line and press enter.

the power cord is usb? and what does the micro hdmi to hdmi cord do?

do you think it the c-1 ,can run 3 wallets? hyp , orb and tek.
if cant  than i need buy more of the c-1
to copy the sdcard (purchase from odriod) do i need a linux system ?
" ssh to the odroid " is this a linux thing?

The only way to connect the odroid u3 to a display is via HDMI. The HDMI port on the u3 is micro HDMI so you need to go from micro to regular HDMI.

I'm not sure about the c1. I think I might buy one though to play with.

If you buy a sd card from odroid it does not need to be copied. It is ready to go.

Using your own is pretty easy also.

SSH is universally awesome and cross platform.

The c1 also uses micro hdmi for its display output.

@m33 I have only run HYP on it, and nothing else at the same time. Maybe I will try installing a few more coins and see how it runs.

What quanty of blocks is good to use?? i keep over 3k HYP blocks but more than 30 days and not staking ..... Huh Huh Huh

i updated the wallet in good time of fork, maybe need bigger blocks to stake now.

I had a bunch of 4K blocks in a row that had staked within 10th day timeframe (a couple of days ago, with the diff almost on it's peak). Personally I stay with the long-time community convention of 4K. These blocks stake in 20-25 days on average.

@infovortice2013:

I've had my blocks sized from 4K up to 5K over the past month, and it's served me well, with most of my block staking around 15 days of age. I think that you're ok with 3K sizes, but your blocks will take longer to stake, as you are seeing. Remember also that luck plays a big factor in staking, so one or a few blocks taking extra long, is nothing extraordinary.

My personal recommendation for sizing today (for new/fresh blocks) is around 5K to 6K.
Happy Staking!

You do not need a linux machine to install this. You could buy an sd card or emmc with linux preinstalled with the odroid. Once you have it all plugged in and powered on you can either use it as a traditional computer (with keyboard mouse monitor) or use it headless and ssh to the odroid to perform the commands to compile the wallet.

buy emmc or sdcard loaded with linux from odroid,is this correct??

so if i get the sdcard for 8 buck , can it be copied on a windows machine , i few afew sdcard sitting around doing nothing want to make use of it

I believe this is correct. I exported the priv key and followed your instructions, and still no luck, any other ideas??

Looks like the wrong chain. Try resyncing using this method https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10471362

have you resynced the block chain? it may be on a fork given the recent changes. It shouldn't be with the current client (you are up to date) but it's still possible that if you updated after the fork that you have remained on a bad fork. That happened to me. (totally my fault, I knew about the update and had other things going on). deleting the block chain and resyncing fixed it for me.

hey guys, have an issue that I can't figure out.. I have an address with 66k HYP hidden somewhere.. the address is

pUYEYrPXxeYNiHpEfpForEoT1GDV97iiGf

you can see that the HYP are there if you look on the Rich list, around position 257. I have the wallet with the address, and the wallet says zero balance. the HYP were there, but somehow while I was transffering them to my other wallet to larger blocks, these 66k got lost some how. can some one help me out?? I have tried repairwallet but didn't fix anything. I have exported the wallet, re-synced the blockchain... whats up with this?? Ideas??

Do you have the latest version of the wallet and are you sure that you are on the correct chain? Use the getblockhash command in console to compare one of your top blocks with the block explorer.

If you are on the correct chain, then go back into debug and "dumpprivkey pUYEYrPXxeYNiHpEfpForEoT1GDV97iiGf" don't share the results with anyone.

Close the client and rename your wallet.dat to walletold.dat. Restart the client and you will have a fresh wallet. Go into debug and type "importprivkey putkeyhere"

That should rescan the entire chain and grab all of your balances. Restart the wallet one more time and make sure everything looks normal.
