Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).
Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!
Do not blame cryptocurrencies for your own mistakes, you were the one that was spending time doing something else that was not your job, I know that the market of cryptocurrencies is very interesting and it can be very rewarding for those that have the right knowledge, but that is not an excuse to not do your job in the proper way and to not give it all the attention necessary.
the problem came in the division of work time and crypto, I chose to get out of the comfort zone for the last two years, I made this decision after getting 10 times more profit from my main income if it was calculated for 10 years, this indeed requires a long adaptation, but I have passed it even though this year there is no big profit from Crypto.
the most important thing is how I continue to develop my experience by always communicating with the crypto trading community. and continue to try to believe that I did not waste my main job, the storm must be passed to become a quality trader
