True, if the bet made is a single bet, I think the op is too ready for a week, but if it is a multi bet then I would consider this a very reasonable thing because we have to guess all the matches correctly, and if one fails then we will feel the defeat.
However, if you feel troubled, then it is better to stop for a while. I think a week without betting is a good thing. Because if this continues to happen, we are worried that we will become emotional and finally continue to chase the victory that we never get. I am the same, I usually take a break from gambling if I feel that everything is not good for me.
A break definitely won't make things worse, gambling won't go away, and taking a break and thinking it over will be the right decision. There are no guarantees that the results will be better after this, but there will be time to calm down and not make mistakes in emotions. I saw someone advise to continue playing further because a break won't do anything, maybe there is logic in this too, but I still tend to think that without a break you can make more mistakes.
And its needed gambling is just there and we can get back anytime we want. Since pushing our selves to gamble while we are in heavy stress due to those losing streak we encounter will just make us obsessed to much to hit our big wins. Then this is bad feelings since provably that we will became so greedy chasing for that situation.
Maybe those continue playing will work for them. But for sure not everyone could handle that and this is the reason why we see a lot of people lose a lot of money then get broke since they didn't quit and take a rest.
So better we should always go on better side to freshen up things and also for making sure that we are fine when deciding back to gamble again.
