I've been into sports betting for quite a while, but times like these are pretty tough. Even though I've experienced this before, it still keeps coming back like feeling a bit emotional, losing focus, and sometimes gambling more than I should. Anyway, have you had the same experience? How do you convince yourself to move on and still enjoy gambling?

I can feel you mate, not just in sports betting, there are days that I will also be in a losing streak in slot games or worst roulette games. So I will just stop for like 3-4 days, just doing sports betting at the side and not using big money until I get that confidence back. And this is just for me though, let's see I have a losing streak on roulette, I will just rest for a couple of days, and when I come back, I will win big, not enough to cover my previous losses though, but still it makes me feel good to be back on a winning attitude.

So that's it for me, just take a break, but still go and bet on sports. Perhaps you might want to switch though like playing slots and see how it goes for you? Just to change the environment and then be back and motivated again on sports betting.

It's an awful expirence seing yourself losing 1 week streak and you keep on gambling and hoping to win. For me I will say at this point you should call it a quit at this point because continuously playing will increase your chances of getting addicted, because chasing after loses Is the reason people get addicted.

Hmm... a losing streak in betting lasting a week is literally nothing, or do you bet live and on any events? It would be better if you specified the number of bets you made this week.
I prefer multiple bets and high odds, so for me losing streaks lasting several months are normal. Accordingly, I have no problems accepting losses, for me it is routine. But I do not bet often - roughly speaking, one weekend when the top European championships are played is one bet for me.

There is no fun in losing and definitely not a good sign to continue gambling. We can say that gambling is our life, but taking a break is quite necessary as well, especially if we are on a losing streak. Because continuing gambling will only worsen the situation and provide no enjoyment.

In gambling, we don't just know how to bet/gamble but must also learn how to take a break. In your situation, OP, the more you gamble, the more you lose control of your emotions and focus, which leads to losing more. We don't need to be in that situation but rather take action before it gets worse.

Every gambler signed up for this if I’m not mistaking almost every gambler pass through this phase once in a while. For the fact lose is normal doesn’t necessary mean a gambler must stay patient even in times like this definitely no one wants a loss that’s the major reason gamblers go in with strategy. Gambling is not guarantee still it’s too early experiencing such now well as everyone mentioned taking a break honestly that’s the best advice, for someone who has been in this for along time can tell the pressure that comes with betting more often when facing consistent lose, I will advice you relax before taking any move associated with gambling pressure.

I think almost everyone has experienced the same thing as you, and it really feels bad when you are on a losing streak. This condition is even worse when gambling more than it should be. I personally have experienced it too, when I realized to stop for a while and try to calm myself down like doing other activities to entertain myself, and in the end found the importance of self-limitation, so that it can make the situation better, and get a sense of security when starting to gamble again, and this certainly makes it comfortable to continue enjoying in gambling.

I just stop lol. Why wouldn't you? I'm not crazy enough to make myself suffer more. I take a break, go hike or something and come back feeling better to gamble again (this is in a span of a few days btw, not all in a single day). I ain't that masochistic about myself. Even in games I'm pretty confident with if I'm stuck in the gutter like you I just forget about even betting. I still watch the game though, sometimes regret comes in when the bet I thought of happens but eh, all it means is that I'd get to rest more days cause of me pitying myself.

I think every gambler has been on a losing streak at one point in time or another. It comes with the territory when you’re doing things based on luck. My advice to you is to not worry so much about the outcome and make sure you’re having fun. If you do want to win though, try betting on the winners instead of the losers.

Did you just said move on? To where when all things are not too well, it is better to first put a pause, analyze on the possible cause to the effect, take little time to understand the issue on ground and try to develop a means of fixing it, if this is what is beyond your own personal control, it's never a bad idea to seek for external consultation for way forward, gambling should not have anything targeted for harm on us except we don't do it as to the best of our interest.

7 days losing streak means you should just give it a break, take some time to get your mind right then develop a new strategy. Strategy development is only done to mitigate losses, there are no assurances that it might actually work. We all have bad days but this shouldn't bother you to much, you have some good days too. The is gambling you should be prepared to have some ups and downs, but it also involves luck sometimes. There are people that have had more bad than good days, not everyone can have the same result. If it's not working out for you then just focus on something else.

Lately I have been copying bets when I been in a losing strike in sport betting and even when I lose in slot machines I find a bit of peace when copying other people bets. Sometimes I hit them nicely like I did yesterday though I lost the winnings in slot machines again trying to hit that max win that can change my life, however happy because I have been playing only with bonus money from my accounts and do all kind of tests with this money beside increasing ranks for bonuses and more perks. Here is a picture of a nice bet won yesterday as I said in order to vivid you a bit and to show that in sport betting much differently from all other type of gambling there is always hope and good things can come your way, you just need to be patient.

Actually i have not had such experience in gambling but even if i do maybe after losing for sometime I think I will just take a break for the main time that's what makes you a responsible gambler, because the reason why most people always play gamble regardless to their lost is because they always have this feeling that some day they're going to recover from all their lost. you know one thing about this gambling is that if you keep remembering the amount of money you lose in gambling definitely it will make you feel depressed at this point quitting May not be the best option for you, so you will just decide to continue gambling before you will realize what you're actually doing you have lose almost that same amount you lost before this is why we need to apply self control when gambling.

The fact that this isn't your first time doesn't mean that you wouldn't loose your money so sometimes experience isn't just enough.  Loosing money definitely comes with some emotions and so it's always Norma to have that you feel that way, we'll I have small experience with this but not this deep though.

I think it's an experience that is very common in  gambling, not only in sports betting but also in other types of gambling. There are some days you will see that luck is just against you and you only experience losses upon losses, while some days can be full of more winnings.
For me, (@OP) even if I experience so much losses during some unlucky days, I easily move on because I gambled with just a little bit amount and it was definitely a small amount that doesn't cause any harm to me after losing it.

One week loosing streak is really a short time. I don’t know how often you gamble but, we rarely have 2 game weeks within a week which most times limit gamblers to focusing on the weekends for league games and mid week for the champions league or Europa league hence, one week losing streak is something quite common. Except your the type that often wins most of your bets. I’m very much not that person and have seen many weeks of loses but each time I want to gamble, I shake off the dust of my losses and gamble on possibilities and with money that wouldn’t hurt so much to loose.

The most important thing is not to let emotions take over at such times, it is best to take a break, do not think about how you need to win back as quickly as possible, because playing with such an approach will mean losing even more. Take a break for at least a week, or if you understand that this is not enough, you can take a break from betting for two weeks. You will feel that emotions will calm down, then you can return to the game. Unsuccessful streaks can happen to anyone, you need to remember this and not let emotions affect you.

Guy I don't think this is a matter of enjoying gambling but it is an addiction road. So you have to realize it and come.e back before it is too late. Once a gambler gamble more which he should do then it is addiction all the way. You have to reduce the feeling and the emotions on gambling more so you can control your feelings on gambling.
And as for the last line of the paragraph, first the question, that feeling is common for all gamblers if I am not mistaken because gamblers have that feeling to play more whenever they visit the casino or when they are with their phones. Just take elit has an entertainment and move on with the fun.

Perhaps you left and forgot about the discipline and now that you from back, you got attached to emotion because you didn't have it in you again. It's easy, just stick to how you use to before you left. Again, hope you left for some other reasons and not really because of constant losses. If you left in the first place and the comes back again because you want to try again but it's not working yet, then I think you really need to quit again or gamble less.

Loss is natural phenomenon that everyone can get emotional about but if you bet with amount that you know you are more than, I'm very sure that it Wil be the least thing you will ever worry about. If you are emotional because you lost $30, then when you want to bet your next game, try it with $5, if you lose you will be fine and if you lose, you will work with what you win because that's your safe staking zone, you can't go above ttat just to be safe.

Everybody who is involved in gambling, at some point in their gambling history,  has the same feeling as you now. You can't win all the time and because of that, you don't derail from the money that you spend on them. You should lower your risk percentage and go for smaller odds. Lower profits yes, but every win will build up your psychology and create a better feeling. As for taking a break, it helps to clear up your mind a bit. However, don't take a big time break. One or two days is enough, at least for me.

Don't be surprised... I have also experienced a losing streak for more than 1 week in the sense that the bankroll for 1 week runs out in a few betting slips because of too ambitious in doing sports betting including in this parlay which is a mistake especially entering unfamiliar matches and only pursuing high odds.

I know we get emotional when we lose... it's not fun at all, but what I do is rest and calm my mind and will divert to other things (not gambling first) after the situation returns to normal I will continue gambling in sports betting and now maybe it's better than before.
