Well man are you still holding coins? If yes then congrats man  Grin I think you need to hold it longer just wait for a price rise after or on halving I think a price rise will happen im not sure about the price though. Even if it's price is unsure it will be sure to happen

Halving is very few hours far now and price is at $640 at a moment may be it can touch $700 in next couple of hours so holding at a moment is the right thing to do.

i think $700 before the block halving is the highest that we can realistically expect from the price in such a short period of time. i think a lot people are already happy that the price didn't go below $600 yesterday.

Yeah and price is at $650 now so we can expect the price of $700 in next 24 hours, and to be honest $700 price is not at all bad to hold.

It is very possible for the price to rise 50 per day. But I would rather like the price to rise 1% per week.

Holding is very good these days, the bitcoin has a great future and the halving is also coming very soon.
Its not really worth waiting on the halving because its gonna be so profitable compared with other events that are coming.
Holding is the best thing to do at the moment because the price is not really good to sell or to buy for if you ask me. I am waiting for what is going to happen after the halving and that is going to decide what I am going to do.

well i guess you are right, with holding right now you can make a lot of profit potentially from the incoming price growth and i hope that it will make you some good money easily

Holding for certain period of time is good but holding too long can be risky as if price drops suddenly then you will regret for not selling when price was higher.

Yeah another stupid person who is holding his coins for ever i dont understand peopel who are holding their coins for years i dont
think you know how the bitcoin works but there are allot of you people.

Got to agree, if its not allready obvious then if we had every bitcoin user just hold and do nothing else the worth of bitcoin would be zero.    Somebody has to be willing to exchange.

The very first users knew this was true, remember that tale of the first pizza sold for 1000 bitcoin or whatever high figure it was.    The seller of that pizza didnt have a massive reason to take bitcoin, to him it was almost giving it away for free because btc was so unknown.   But he took the first step to try encourage others to do the same.   If that hasnt been written up it should be so we people understand.

Bitcoin today has a market capitalisation, its the total worth of all bitcoin; all the coins added up and each user is affected by market worth.   That market is expanded by trade, by users exchanging goods and using bitcoin.  If the market is everyone holds coins and hopes to sell then worth is falling, its called monetary velocity and it appears to real money to so far as I know

Read the example here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velocity_of_money#Illustration

tl;dr
$10 of bitcoin held unused is worth $10
$10 of bitcoin earnt and spent and recycled around our BTC economy 7 times for goods or simple tasks is worth $70 so bitcoin gets bigger.
Its the same coins each time we use them but they become worth more because we made them so useful with this goods sale or tasks worked for.
never use bitcoin?  expect to be waiting a very long time

That is the reason I hold most of my coins, but I also use some of them to help the circulation and increase the price.

I'm also holding the bitcoin and I'm maybe even gonna do this for a long time due to the fact that the bitcoin is going to a high amount.
We only need to hold it now for a short time if you want because of the halving.

Holding right now is the only logic thing to do.
If you sell now you lose out on the potential gain, which i am sure will happen.
Hoping to buy back lower is an option but nobody nows what the new low will be.

I guess you're holding cash... but I may be wrong ,  prepare for sub 600

Holding is the best you can do, I agree with this.
In fact its also that if you are not holding right now you even will lose profit and I do not think that is worth it.
I hope the bitcoin price is gonna rise to a very high amount.

i think most of the experienced bitcoiners hold their bitcoins right now in order to make some good profit over time because in my opinion they know that bitcoin is going to grow, im holding in order to make profit

Just holding your stupid bitcoins is not the option you want to see the price rise or not then you have to spent some of your coins otherwise
the price wont change anything only in bad things.

maybe you could wait a while longer until you sell bitcoin that you hold. when the price has reached the price of $ 800 + maybe it is the right time to sell bitcoin that you have, I too was waiting for the price

Its not easy to achieve the price of $800 now, as its below $700 now and we wont be able to see that price at halving, so I think you need to wait for next 3 to 4 months to see the price of $800.
