I think it is very important now that we see what is happening in the space first hand, the growth is very sudden and the drop is catching everyone unaware, I think something similar has happened before from $1000 to $200, that is 80% loss from the ATH, now something similar is happening from $20k now it is around $6k. I would be worried if it touches $2k.

The cause of this dip is maybe the correction of market on last December 2017 and then the next thing is the news that spread all over the world even if it is a fud many newbie become a panic seller, so if I we're you I'm going to see the previous market and compare the present one so that I will understand on what is happening in the market, the market now is the bearish season. 
Yeah, it can be pretty confusing and depressing at the same time.

This so true, mate. I agree that more elite group joined the crypto world.
That's why they started playing the price. We as a small investor can't do anything except hold or try a cut-loss.

Totally agree theres so many reason why Market is red but the biggest reason are those FUDDS who make thos WEAK HANDS panic and pull out all of there investment and here comes the WHALES. I better wait that lose my money cause of FUDDS

I think most people do not understand what is happening to the market. All the build only guesses, but the truth of the reason no one knows.
I think there is nothing to surprised with since we've all know that cryptocurrency price is highly volatile compared to fiat. Last few months we have noticed that there is a bullish in price so this time would be expected which is followed by bearish. Not all the time the flow will be in only one direction. Don't be in hurry as it will cause us panicking and will lead us to big lose.

I am not suprised, it was anticipated by most of the TA specialists. Also think back to the time when ETH was going up like crazy.

If I have to be honest, I have no idea what's going on with the market. But that does not surprise me anymore. I think to hold all my investments and try to invest in more new ones.
I, as well as the author, do not even want to look into my portfolio! Every day my mood falls at the same speed as the altcoins 
usually with the decrease in the current price of bitcoin or altcoin due to the large number of withdrawals by making the fiat of the crypto user to take advantage with fiat at certain moments and currently there is most likely a moment of much withdrawal. but if you have a strong enough belief my advice is you have to keep hold, because I think it's just a matter of time, just wait until you're lucky.

I agree with you, actually I confuse too about it, why the price not ups again, but be sure the price someday will ups again, we just to hold for now.

I think the market is not stable and may still fall for several months, but the price must rise in the future, bitcoin will surely set a new record, we only need to hold our coins and increase our coins by some trading
there is no reason for confusion specially because you have been warned not to buy into a bubble but you didn't listed and not only you bought all these altcoins that were in big bubbles but also you held on to them while they were losing value!

this is probably due to bad news from facebook and tweeter. now Google will also close advertising. Probably they are afraid for their capitalization on an IPO
I believe there are more and more investors losing their confidence about cryptocurrency.
