There are a couple of options that have probably already been written here, but I think that you need to contact support, maybe they can help you get out of this situation, in any case, it may turn out that you can no longer access your funds.

For me, it is a large amount of money (3000 usd)
some fee is always acceptable, because it is my fault and bring trouble to them.

Sorry for your loss. I think always better check before send any coins to exchange if there is something wrong. I wish cryptopia give the option to get your coins back as some exchanges made in past as i remember and take some fee from that coins to get it if was higher amount.

It is a large money for me, but even if it is only $50 or less they should show good faith by trying to resolve it if the coin landed in any of the wallets they control, they should give it back, not because they are hacked they will not show goodwill to their customers, soon any kind of marketing will not gain trust in their exchange.

Is Cryptopia active again? How did you find the deposit address of cryptopia if they were not active yet.

Nothing can be done now other than waiting for cryptopi to come online and request support team for refund your money.
They have enabled trading too if I am correct. Maybe OP sent the fund to the previous used addrress. If they want, they can give it back, at least for the sake of customers satisfaction. I will follow this thread and will not use cryptopia anymore if they don't solve this issue.

Hard to say but that is OP fault because he never read the announcement from cryptopia. We cannot help at all and cryptopia cannot help too.
Maybe hiring a lawyer can help but you need to make sure that if your account is verified member or not, your lawyer can handle a problem on the internet or not. I am afraid that the fee will be too expensive than your lost.

This is user's fault for not reading uodatea and notice before doing transactions. Sadly to say, just take it as an opportunity to learn and hope you won't commit the same mistake in the future.

Regardless of when they announced what, I suggest you file a lawsuit against them for unprofessional conduct because this is clearly unprofessional.
They won't recover your money, not because they can't but rather because they don't want to. That's pathetic. They should be sued first for the money then for covering legal cost.
It's only a matter of how many people would want to go the distance to do this. I'm not even sure that after losing so much money if OP has enough mental capacity at this point to carry on with such a thing.
Can they be sued even if the complainant is not from New Zealand and the account made on Cryptopia is not verified? These kind of mistakes is users fault but if somehow we have safety net if ever these things happened then i think risk would be minimized.

Yes, you can find a lawyer to sue them, but how about the fees, maybe lawyer fees is more than your loses ($3K), otherwise I think you need to check their tnc, some of them no obligation to return the coin that already stop deposit if they already send out email to member
Yes, next step I will find a lawyer to sue them, I am not a nz citizen.
But I do think it is their fault, of course it is also mine

Sorry to hear that, $3K is not a small amount for normal investor, most of the time I'll double check exchange wallet and trading is online or not, I'll send a few coin to make sure deposit is working.

They should help me to return coins back and i do confirm coins is still in their wallet
But by now then only say they have sent mail to me and they will do nothing.

I know they are busy for the hack, I can wait even for years

If you are a citizen or resident of new zealand, you could possibly sue them.
They claim that their warning is sufficient but you could argue that one mass generated email does not constitute efficient.
If you are not a citizen or resident of New Zealand, you are out of luck.
Since cryptopia is a nz company, you would have to get an international lawyer that would most likely cost you more than what you deposited.
Actually, just suing them normally would probably cost you more than also.

It totally sucks, but there is probably nothing you can do.

I bet that you deposited to the wrong address. It's a common mistake by newbie in trading(if you're not it's also a common mistake  Grin). I'm a victim of this and next time you should try to be more careful. Here's what you can do to verify, copy the addresses to word document before sending and compare.

Bisq is a Bitcoin Fiat Dex. Use responsibly
This is very unfortunate.  more reason cryptocurrency platforms need to include some kind of reversible transaction.

Cryptopia may not be able to recover this fund for you unfortunately.  I remember they sent me some kind of warnings about withdrawing and depositing on their exchange. Maybe you keep talking to them to see if something can be done

You have wasted your coins. yeah there might be mistake coming from.the exchanges but as a user.we must be resoponsible enough to read warnigs or.any written prior to proceed huge transactions. This very careless procedure you have made so I guess it will be a lesson learn for you OP.

For cryptopia team also since they know that there exchanges are not working yet then they should disable deposit addresss. Now, the exchanges credibility has lowered down and not a friendly user excerise.

I sent whitcoins to cryto from another exchange, and in that exchange i saved Cryto addr as a lable
So i sent whitecoins by mistake Cry
I wonder why you mistakenly copy that address? Do you trade regularly on cryptopia?
So perhaps you are aware that it was hacked recently and funds are not yet fully return to its user so the chances of your coins of getting back is low.

Anyway, how much the value of your coin? I mean if it isn't that valuable just let it go anyway and don't stress yourself out.

Oh, so you sent it from a previously saved whitecoin Cryptopia address then as if you had to login to Cryptopia, you wouldn't get their deposit address. You sent it to the hacker's address so that's it.

In Apri 15,2019 I deposit 37001 whitecoins (about 3000 usdt ) to cryptopia (cryptopia.co.nz) exchange this week by mistake
Transaction is http://explorer2.whitecoin.info/tx/4fbfadee8b3ad9848da419dd91a1ee5326d74101b5bc118cdc0e33babf769503
Deposit address is WiicrP4bED9Exb2W3vJGACQ8RAA5z4vyvX ( this address is right)

After depositing I found cryptopia have stopped deposit, so I asked their supporter to get them back
But they say they have sent mail to all of their customers not to deposit any coins to their exchange, so they will never help me to get my coins back though they is still in their wallet

I know I do a bad thing and I am very sorry to disturb them. And I know they are in big trouble for hack

I just want to get my coins back and I can wait one year for that.

I lost some of my assets in crptopia for their fault I donot lost again for my fault

So could someone tell me how to do? thanks very very much
Below is the part of our communication

supporter:

Hi ljscdx,

Thanks for contacting Cryptopia.

If this was sent after our cutoff date of the 16th of January 2019, I would recommend reading the article we have on our Knowledgebase about this, here: https://support.cryptopia.co.nz/csm?id=kb_article&sys_id=58ce178fdb10bfc084ed147a3a9619a1. This goes into detail why we will not be recovering anything that was sent after the 16th of January, 2019 (NZT).

In light of this we will not be recovering this deposit for you. We will not be entering a debate about this, we warned all customers not to send anything to any of your Cryptopia addresses, but you still chose to anyway.

Kind regards,

Cryptopia Support Team

Me:

This morning I deposit 37,000 whitecoin(XWC) to my deposit addr on 2019/04/15

my deposit address is WiicrP4bED9Exb2W3vJGACQ8RAA5z4vyvX and it is confirmed by block chain

that's quite an expensive mistake that it has caused you but I also noticed that there are many other exchange where the token is traded. You should have investigated and done enough research

I-CHAIN - The Revolution of Digital Advertising
I think their response shows lack of professionalism and with this kind of customer services they will definitely loose a lot of customers.. Provided the wallet it got sent to wasn't and isn't compromised I don't see any big deal in helping with solutions.. Lack of flexibility and apathy in rendering customer service will definitely drive cryptopia out of market if they don't change..

I admit it is my fault and i am so stupid to do that thing

And could you please tell me which one is their representor
I am newbie, thank you very much
It's your fault but it doesn't something which can't be done. Try to contact again with them. Try contacting their representor in bitcointalk. I hope it will work. If they don't give it back to you, it will be their shaddy behavior. I hope you get back your coins.
