No one knows. If anyone knew that buying that coin could make a huge profit, they would only invest in that coin. Most people have a misconception about the crypto market, most traders lose their funds in the hope of making quick profits.

But what happen what none of such thing happens, where the market is getting stale and there is no prominent movements on every altcoins you could find? That's how the research and analyst comes first.2. I tried mining eth back in 2018, invested alot of money. 7 GPUs 200 M Hashrate. But effort time was alot more. I am living in a country with expensive electricity. I cant just collect coins and pay electricity bill from my pocket 
That was such a pain when you could mine any coin.4. There are 100s of coins with ico every year , majority of them are scam. Dont know the way to identify the right ones with wrong ones. If you know then you can tell this information or if something secret please do not hesitate to message me

insane profit with altcoins? it's very hard to reach since just few have a better returns versus bitcoin or top 5 altcoins.
You can try to built a portfolio with some strong coins (I mean good background, white paper and so on) and try your luck, since it's very hard pick the right altcoin and sell in the right time!

But I don't suggest this to the newbies because your emotion are still weak and you might get trap if you buy the hype projects.
If I have that kind of money, I'll buy BTC and ETH while learning how to properly trade because this can be the safest coins that you can invest with and hold it for long term. Now if you have enough knowledge, the market offers a lot of good DeFi project like DIA, POOLZ, CHAINLINK and UNISWAP, that's the best list for me.
If you are willing to throw it away without any hesitation, I believe you will make a lot of money in this market. Try looking for a few new projects that have IDO, which is one of the ways to bring profits quickly, but it is not easy for newbies, better yet, you need to learn how to participate yourself. drop your $1000 to multiple coins, for example $250 to Bitcoin, $250 to ethereum, $250 to Polkadot
and the rest you can go for other promissing altcoins with low marketcap
BTC and ETH are the safest option for investors. Nowadays DOT is a good option too. But 'OP' is asking for insane profit. These coins won't give him insane profit in short term. For making insane profit he should choose new coin project. But there is high risk. He may loss his money by investing in scam project. OP should go through proper research before investing in any new project or low marketcap coin. Personally I would invest the amount in btc or eth and hold it for long. and the rest you can go for other promissing altcoins with low marketcap
