I think bro, you are the luckiest people in this crypto industry because you owned 12BTC which is considered a very big amount of money when properly manage. I would suggest that keeps on investing cryptos with great potential to grow and you will become a billionare investor in the near future.

That is considered a big amount of money already, owning amounted to 12btc is so amazing, I suggest that you secure your childrens studies, by buying a educational plan, and your life insurance, incase you get older, you are secured with your future, and if there is little that you want to put in investments or business then its up to you already.

I think you should split the money in hand. HODL, Trade and ICO. Risk division. That's what the professionals do. Make a piece of cash at the same time

Congratulations for your great achievement. I am thinking to switching a part of my dwindling portfolio back to Bitcoin as I have seen my portfolio die by 99.55 now and have almost nothing left and maybe it is time to sell what little I have and place in Bitcoin. I would just keep it in Bitcoin for safety right now and not invest in anything else. I have lost a terrible amount of equity not having my money in Bitcoin but having kept it in altcoins.

I think you have done a great job until now. Maybe you should divide it into two. You can keep hold a half and the rest you can invest it in ALT coin. After that you can keep working, waiting and enjoying the result in the future. Everything is your own decision. Just think about it wisely. I hope you will get the best.

you can use the 6 bitcoin to invest it to other altcoin or maybe buy the 1 bitcoin on fiat and the 2 bitcoin for the ethereum and 3 bitcoin for the altcoin and the rest 6 bitcoin hold it or maybe use the 1 bitcoin to buy new things for yourself

You can exchange half on your bitcoin to ethereum and invest in good ICOs and other half you should keep to hodl. This scenario is the best

Based on the success and free time that I have, I have decided to research the top 200 altcoins and release at least one analysis of them a day. Will release the results in this group (first 500 to join will get access to the premium group) Link below...

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

It is clear that holding is better one of my firnds had 12 BTC too, he traded that coins and now he have 0.4BTC, if you have good science in trading you can trade, else it will better to hold it.

I think this guy was lucky. Even if he does not invest anywhere in his bitcoins, he can simply do nothing and wait about three to four years. And its amount will multiply many times.

you can even make a lot of mone with the bitcoins you have in the long term but in the current situation, there may be options like making trade, investing in altcoins.
i recommend that you create a nice portfolio with a few altcoins that are reliable. Altcoins that have a nice development team and are reliable.

I would suggest to invest some amount in ICOs as I think that for this moment they might bring more profit than other coins, and even trading. Check for ICOs at www.icoguide.com the rates are very good there, they seems to be real and assessment is fair.

Immediately I saw this post I quickly asked myself why your decision to ask this question. Having gone through your post I concluded there was no need for your question. From 0.01BTC to 12BTC is a huge success already. You don't need a better advice if you want to keep succeeding. Go ahead with what you have been doing with your coins and keep multiplying your investments

You should look into investing just a small portion of that amount into an AMB master node. There are multiple tiers with the cheapest one currently around $3k US dollars which is an absolutely insane deal. Lookat the potential payouts you could get here and tell me it's not worth the risk:

https://medium.com/@snipecharts/ambrosus-expected-masternode-roi-dd98810683e

If you're still not convinced here's a quick summary but of course DYOR:

-currently only $.26
-rumored partnerships with Migros (30 billion), GSK (40 billion) and others means there will be mass adoption of AMB-NET platform
-rockstar team with deep connections in Swiss government and corporations
-full fledged IOT platform with their own hardware and proprietary sensors
-main net in July
-only $40mm market cap
-coin burn for each ownership challenge transaction
-payouts tied to USD to your profit stays the same even if the crypto market dips

The market is fluctuating a lot. I'd prefer coins that are more stable.
I would keep major part of my portfolio in bitcoin and ethereum.
After that, I would choose some really promising altcoins to hold for a long time.

Right now you definately need to hold it.

If it drops in future - maximum 10% - 15%, so you will not lose too much.

But it will not drop Wink I think BTC will be 10k minimum at winter.

If I were in your shoes, I would see half of the bitcoin, invest some of it in other promising altcoin, convert some of it to USDT and buy more bitcoin when the price drops more.

I would suggest that split your bitcoin half of this is put them an investment in different ICOs and the rest of your bitcoin is hold it in the long term because the price of bitcoin is volatility in the market and maybe the price of bitcoin will go up sharply.

I'm thinking you should sell it to buy more potential altcoin. Because the value of bitcoin is unstable and tends to be bad

In my opinion there are few way what to do. The first one is holding and waiting. The second one is investing somewhere. And the third is trading.

If I were you, I would invest 90% in the ICO. With such money, you can organize your own ICO yourself.  Roll Eyes
90% is so huge amount to investment. If I had 12 bitcoins, I would just own them and enjoy the  income from the currency growth without overloading my head with trading. But these are all my thoughts and my dreams  Cry
