I've always defended Ethereum. Because it's a very beautiful project and it's way ahead of us. Etherereum will be much more when smart contracts are being used at every stage of our lives.
use it to invest on undervalued token/coins. follow good project, invest on ico. dont all in your money on 1 coin dude, cause aion have more real use than eth. yeah do your own risk. interoperability will big on 2020++
If you didn't sell it back when it was above 1200 bucks I think don't sell it. If I had 250 eth and I didn't need money right away I think I would hold it till 2019
That is largely.. you are lucky having such voluminous eth.. if you really in needs of cash you can sell out some then hold the rest, sell out some percentage out of it
30 % of your money I would keep in Ethereum, the rest I would divide between such altcoins as red pulse, apex, gladius and stratis.

lucky you have a lot of eth. just hold your eth until eth price is really high. and sell some of your eth when the price is high. if I may give advice, you should also invest in some altcoin that have good prospects in the future. How do you think about the price of ETH end of this year.

If you are still holding those ethereums, you are still in profit. If you sold all of them in December, then you are the most luckiest person that i have ever seen in my life, because the price is still -70% from the all time high of december

you created this thread 31st August 2017 and i'm sure you already know what you did in december 2017 because then it has many advantages, and I am also very sure if you buy at the beginning of 2018 when ethereum experiencing a lot of price decrease and will hold until the end of year 2018, congratulations to you for being a billionaire
Much better to hold it for long term if you are not really in need of money or any emergency situation. As for an update now some alts where dropping included Bitcoin and ethereum but not like other alts we can make sure that ethereum will pump again.

I believe, the author of this thread managed to read these comments before he took a decision to sell his Ethereum altcoins and exchange them. This great cryptocurrency might become the market leader one day.

It really depends on whether you have made a profit or not. If you bought a year ago and have made a good profit, then of course you can sell.
I personally don’t like selling in a correction so I might prefer holding until it hits a new high, but it’s more about perspective than anything else. Is your profit going to be “life changing” type of money to you? Are you content with locking in the profits you have now? What are the tax implications for you if you sold some or all now?
All those things should be considered.

I would have bought some perspective altcoins for 50% of your assets.
