Since you have come this long way since august, you should keep on holding them rather than thinking about cashing them. The year might not be so hot for ETH but we can have slight rise though. This can give you small benefits. Loosing 5 ETH is bad but since you have already invested now, a rise in the market might recover the loss of 5 ETH you faced and might even give you surplus profit as well. ETH had been on the highest market price previously.

Price of ETH is quite low if i compare with the January month price. In January 1 ETH= 1248 USD and today 1 ETH = 219 USD these figures clearly shows what is the actual position of ETH in today crypto marker. I would suggest you to hold your coins till Jan 2019 at least to get fruitful returns on your investment.

you can sell and buy it again after the beginning of next year, I have sold it in the past few months and ready to buy it back early next year, I might buy that ETH when touching the $ 100 floor wall

There is going to be a phase of the price appreciation for sure. ETH now is equal to ETH in future plus the addition to the current value of ETH. This added value can range from more than $1000 to $2000 If there is a value added of 2000 dollars, the worth of the 250 ETH you are holding would be 0.5 million dollars for sure. Better keep on holding your ETH for future benefits. Have trust on the benefits of long term holding.
250 eth is a large amount, and may be used as a profit producer if the price returns nromal. so I think that keep ethereum and get big profits don't sell at low prices.
Hold it for few months. ETH have massive market cap. Prices of ETH will surely go up. Right now proce of ETH is low but in coming months it will give you satisfactory returns. On the other side, if you need money on urgent basis you can sell some part of your coins.
If the guy has a stable income (not from the cryptocurrencies only), it will be better to hold Ethereum for at least a year. In 2019, the price of ETH will reach $2000 I think!
