If I were you, I would try to get some popular ico with 30% eth and then turn it into eth again as the token grows, I believe eventually the number of eths will increase, but there is a risk
I think it's better to hold for now. Because many expect the ETH can rise again the next 3 months . If the value reaches higher, exchange it. You will become richman. But don"t forget some invest it, who knows you can more rich. 
you can use some of them to buy some of good ICO using ethereum platform if you pick a good one you probably will have better return for the eth you use to participate in ICO, most token offered now have very solid business and operation plan and highly experienced team of developer running it, because of this waves of ICOs I think eth price will maintain for a bit longer than some other plain vanilla coin, unless they reached critical mass adoption
If you have such an amount of etherium, then in your place I would have kept it in my place, many make a prediction for what will go up in the near future
If were you i would just get 50% in ethereum related assets, any of them that focuses on larger scale of users like Status, selling is never a good idea unless your main currency is strong might make buybacks easier. oh ya ICOs too if you are a risk taker. 250 ETH is alot and it should be use wisely on any sort of investment.

It's good for you if you have 250 ETH. It is a blessing and I think everyone can have 250 ETH if we work hard. For me, it is better to hold it because this is not the right time to sell, ETH price now is not good. Keep holding and wait until it rise again. It is more successful in the market and ETH price is the second to bitcoin that's why it is important to hold.

If not, I'm sure you regret now. If yes, your Eth have rise about 5X.
Eth is a well promise altcoin for now. Hold it unless you need money immediately.

if you had hold that amount until now,almost 100% of gain you had last week when the price reached almost $1,500 .and if you still asking this same question?all i can say for OP and the whole ethereum community,stay holding as the train ride was just starting and this 2018 will be great year for all of us. Hold it. It will surely follows bitcoin price and will be second to bitcoin in terms of marketcap.
It is already in the second place mate long time before.
I think holding is the best idea to gain much profit in long term because its very promissing project and its the mother of new great project. I think you will not regret if you hold it.
i agree that etherium is been a second place next to bitcoin ever since they both came out but lately etherium went to the third spot as bitcoincash recently dethrone him to the fact that bitcoincash has skyrocketed and pump unexpectedly and majority of people suspected is as only a market manipulation but luckily bitcoincash has now subsided and got back on the third spot before etherium and etherium has now regain his throne on the second spot.
@op you should hold it because etherium is still doing good and it manage to increase a little bit and you should also convert some of those into bitcoin for investment and other half is for potential alts just for trading purposes.

You have made this post in August of last year. I hope you were able to continue holding some Ethereum. During that time, Ethereum was still valued at around $300. Ethereum has already reached more than $1,300 since then. If you were able to sell some during that All Time High (ATH) you have made a thousand dollars as profit per Ethereum that you have. Right now it is slightly lower than that price but I know the year 2018 will be another good year for this altcoin.

Yes. we're loosing a lot of money if we sell it now.. market are falling.. I think we should be patient and wait for the market to stabilize before we sell any coins..
