Two days ago, I attempted to split my BTC Diamond and BTC Private. I could not get it.

At some point, I exposed my Ledger Nano with my BTC on it, to each of their Electrum Wallets.

That was an extremely unforgiving choice thus you have endured an immense loss. 13 BTC is never again a little sum today it is a decent arrangement as of now. Your blame is that you didn't make and try different things with a little sum before you did it with your wallet that has 13 BTC. In any case, next time on the off chance that you truly need to have a forked coins at that point take a stab at putting it in yobit, the forked coins will consequently show up in your adjust as long as you have BTC.

it was not Electrum wallet. It was a copy-paste clone of Electrum or whatever other legitimate wallet created to claim the forked Bitcoin Diamond and Bitcoin Private. Electrum wouldn't allow that, as Electrum works for real Bitcoin (BTC) only. So he pasted his private key into this clone and the clone developer(s) sweeped his BTC wallet.

That is a very sophisticated scam, feel bad for the OP who lost 13 BTCs. The problem is that the feeling will simply get worse when bitcoin rises, it will be regret and annoyance. Not sure if there is any advice that can make you feel better other than to go to the police and see if they can do anything.

I have a feeling that in my country you would spend a few hours explaining to the police what bitcoin is and why it is worth anything and then ultimately they would think you lost some gadget from online game and discard your case anyway. Even if not, if they understand Bitcoin, I doubt they can really do anything for the OP.

This a lesson learned to everyone do not store much money in just one address, maybe we should split our funds into multiple address and do some safety measure in transfering funds like creating a bridge account.

Excellent advice.

The OP did not expose the private key to an individual, instead he copied and pasted it in to a new wallet that was created to use by a fork. He should have transferred his Bitcoins out to a new wallet/address and then used the empty wallet to try to obtain the new forked coins. Sadly he did not know that and someone, somehow used his keys to obtain the balance from the bitcoin wallet.

Without knowing much about the forked coin I cannot speculate on how the scam was carried out but everybody should take care in all aspects of crypto related issues.

he has near 7 BTC on his wallet, and many ethereum, on myetherwallet
and, of course, he has some altcoins, like tefood tokens, etc.
he is cry, when it happen!

And, of course, he really need psyhological help

I am sorry to hear that my friend, but i think it's best not to put all of your fortune into cryptocurrencies. But, for this tragedy already happened, i suggest you must be strong and accept it that you will goes up again. That's kinda mistake could make you more stronger and more careful for sure. Sorry to hear of this loss. I tend to stay away from the forks unless I am totally up to date and confident with the procedure. (of course using some small test amounts first).

Other than that experience you are going through, and of course there may be some light at the end of the tunnel - I do hope this is a lesson to others too.

And also do not hold so much in ANY WALLET.

Back up the private keys too, do not just remain and rely on the wallet.dat as these can easily become corrupted.
