I have two suggestions one of them is LOC. It's a low cap project with a dedicated team and a good idea. They have a core community, even though it's not a big one they are helping the project's growth. The other one is Engineer.ai, they didn't even start their ICO but they are an existing build on-demand software company that looks to upgrade their services with blockchain. Some of their services already make them competitive in the market by cutting costs and time to a fraction of the competitors. What I like about both of them is the real world use aspect of them, both of these projects understand what the benefit of the blockchain to their projects and utilize it well in it.

There is some information that XRP will make x2 till the end of the year even against major (BTC) trend. I'm not sure about the truth and it's doesn't square with the facts or more specific information but personally, just in case I bought myself some.

You can take any altcoins that you can only find from the top 20 on coinmarketcap, because these projects have very good support from the community, so I would probably recommend them all the same.
My suggestion to you is to invest 70% in NYC and rest in altcoin. Top 20 altcoin to choose is better option but just 30%of your portfolio. Ripple eth ada is safe option in today scenario. For holding you must have to be patient also
