news etc when hold for long term I just wanna recommend us for always follow the news & make the right decision about it. Sell it when you on profit or maybe the worst things sell it for minimalising our loss & we can buy back again at some dip, cause this field are full of volatiles chart.

lol. funny. depends on how old you are now and at what age you want to marry. other altcoins you might be interested in are privacy coins in my opinion. They have utility and will be around a long time but the only issue is that there are so many of them now in such little space and there is stiff competition. only the tech advanced will last. so research privacy coins and invest in them.

I would recommend you to invest in top-20 of the coinmarket, as for me the most promising ones are Etherium,Ripple,litecoin,Tron ,Neo,Etherium Classic, Cardano and Stellar.All of them will cost much higher in a year or two.
In the long run, you can safely take all the altcoins from the top ten. And I would also like to pay attention to Electroneum, in 1-2 years this project will be in the top 10 for sure.
for the time being, the altcoin situation is not good, but the coin that is potentially long-term in my opinion is an ETH coin, even though I have lost a lot of value, I still believe it and I am sure that the quality it occupies is a top priority to rise again.

You have already listed a lot of coins from which you can choose the you can save. But personally, my choice is XLM, EOS,and of course gained popularity XRP.Pay attention to the news background around other cryptocurrencies.Maybe over time there will be other promising coins.
try looking for some just finished ICOs mostly that's one of the most best ways if your planning of long term holding, but i would much recommend that you go for bitcoin or ethereum both of that coins are very profitable when it comes to holding and selling at the right time.
I wouldn't bet on new coins until the bullish run, today I would suggest like you did to invest in BTC and ETH. That’s' the safest bet for years to come.

I agree about ETH and I think it is still safer to not launch into new coins, but still stick to the old and good ones such as XRP, EOS, XLM, LTC, ADA, and XMR.
Ethereum, Neo, Litecoin, and EOS as my long-term top 4, which makes up 80% of my portfolio. I think the four altcoins are the best for the long term.
Looks like you're not getting married with the current prices. I think that if you choose from altcoins, you should pay attention to such coins as Ethereum, EOS, Ripple, OMG, ADA and Monero.

in my opinion, some of the altcoin that is great for long term investment, is the ethereum and also dash. for other types of coins, I think is very less reliable. because it is known that other types of coins is also not necessarily the potential.
