Most promising altcoins for long term holding now are ETH, EOS and POLY. With the low price of them now, i'm sure you will get profits if you buy now and hold for more than 1 year.

I like all the projects you proposed, except NEO. The project is a long time in development, but does not move forward. It is not used for ICO and they do not fulfill their promises of decentralizing the network. I think that Ontology will take the place of NEO in the coming year. I would recommend paying attention to Komodo right now. The project is literally at the bottom of the price and with the growth of altcoins can bring a good profit.

Btc could be here without any problems. But among altcoins I think the best one is Eos, which is stronger than Eth even now, so the losses are minimal.

Many option that you can invest in your money in, just try invest in coin that not populas as like ethereum, i recommed to invest in vechain, nem, neo and maybe cardano would be best. Altcoins is good option as long as you invest in the right one.

From me the best Altcoin for long run investment is Bitcoin and Ethereum , these two coin is my favorite coin , for short term I suggest you can choose from the top 10 on CMC .
