You better can still trading there are now a lot of people that is trading because they cant earn profit with gambling and selling so that is why they are trading.
You can quit only if you have the patience to wait a long time until the value will be more worth.

I might also quit trading just like you do if and only if I am not earning from it. I am about to start the trading but its just that I heard a lot of bad reactions and losses that people who got involved in this business and I believe so that this is much better than gambling wherein you will never realize you had nothing left. I am actually a beginner here but if this is the reaction i may not want to try it at all I wouldn't wonder if this is the results as always that's really not good for me couldn't have a loss not right now.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

you got enough experience with trading. I think you should not quit trading at this point. you lost 7 btc with your past years. but now you can easily recover that amount of money, and can easily generate more profit from trading. a normal trader need almost 1 year to get knowledge and experience about trading. so first year for a trader is only for learning not for earning. and you are quitting this when your earning period is just starting.. I don't know man. If I were in your place. I would not quit trading.
Exactly this, that experience cost you 7 btc lost , we should learn from it and start/build a new one.

Looks like op are a typical person who gives up easily (a quitter? ) his success maybe exactly in front of him. If I remember correctly bitcoin price at op post this in september 2015 are $240-$260 . And today price are  $450 hmmm picture below perfectly described how op missed a success .

Well I have friend with a first experience of trading so he bought Orly on 600 satoshi since he saw that Orly market has positive attitude.
But at the end, it never raise more than 700 even it keep decreasing until 200 satoshi. That's first bad experience of trading and usually it called as " panic buy " event

I always look at and analyze the coin, how much is the highest price. because if the price is approaching the highest price, I would never dare to buy. and I better pick coins with high volume as in poloniex, even though sometimes down further, if the coin is good it will surely rise again.

Same here, not really a panic buy, but in my case, it was a greedy buy.

I bought ORLY at 710 after looking at the green blinks and thinking it's going crazy.

Later I realized it was just a bot and I got fooled. The price is 58sat and I'm still holding it Tongue

It is not the best thing that you can do now around this time and that is because many people see also that the value is keeping stable and you can earn profit with trading.
So that is perfect for the currency but it is hard to predict the value of course but you have to take risks if you want to make profit.

It will be not that best thing that you can do now because the value is going to be more worth and that should be perfect for the most people if they can earn more money.
But of course it can takes a long time until the value will be more.

i been trading both altcoins and bitcoin since 2013 ... yeah i know i came in late ...

i made most of my money on the big bull altcoin 2013 saga with darkcoin aka dash now and the first POS coin blackcoin ... im not gonna write numbers but those ones got nearly 20-30x and market was so liquid u can mange yourself with more than 40 btc in and getting out easy then i with draw most of my profit then and left like 10-15% to play the new ones ... well i kinda did bad with those but i learned how those markets behave in the bear market .

then i recently deposited more funds with the recent eth bull market ... this time i was like lets short that eth thing ... but my friends told me how great it is and how it can grow way way bigger ... so i researched it and bamm i changed my mind but it was kinda late ... most the eth profits where made then ... but that did not stop there all the altcoins was going up for no reason YEAH its called bull market i bought in diff coins with good chance to go up and again i made huge profit .. i say to my self gotta stick to the plan so yeah i withdraw all the bitcoins this time and sold last week well i know the halving thing coming for bitcoins but ...... profit is profit

Trading is better than gambling because it depends on the calculation of the markets . try to invest in low risk coin like eth . imaging if you invest 47 BTC in eth 1 week ago buying it at 0.016-0.017 after 1 week you sell at 0.022-0.021 BTC .
Calculate your profit by your self .
The main point is to invest\trade in low risk coin only with high volume & stay away from shitcoin.

i don't think that you should leave it, even if you lost so many money from it in this time, trading is still a best way to earn money with bitcoins, because gambling is too risky and keeping them is very slow

you can try now to invest them somewhere, but you should avoid gambling sites as they are very risky, or buy bitcoins and keep them, just like i said, this way to earn bitcoins is very slow

I think trading is the right choice. at the moment, trading gives a great advantage results .i can live for trading. I suggest to you that trading remains a lucrative place to find bitcoin.
yes indeed if you are serious in doing it you might take advantage of this certain rise up of btc, perfect timing for you to invest your money no reason to quit since halving is still on the way, profit will be expected just study it hard then quit after you already gain some. good luck.
If you want to quit trading than you have to make an nice investment with Bitcoin in the future because than that will be the only way to earn some money with it.
And the bad thing is that nobody cant control the value so you also dont know the right moment to sell it.
trade is dependent on the analysis and your strategy, if you quit means you failed. you have more to learn, why you can lose so much, if you play too greedy. because you have to control when to sell or cut lose, so not much to lose.

there is no reason to quit after a fail even if it is a big fail, you have to learn from your mistakes, by not repeating the same mistakes again. this is the way to success. if you quit you will end up quitting all the things you start because you will make mistakes in all of them.

When it comes to bitcoin trading, it purely depends upon how exactly you predict the price moves. The more accurate your prediction, the more will be the profit earned. In my opinion if one user has lot time to spend then he can continue trading with limited profit.
