So far no one can beat many bitcoin who talks that ethereum is going to beat bitcoin in my opinion it is just a prediction

Until now there is no new coin that can beat bitcoin, but in the future we do not know, I think the coins that have the potential to beat bitcoin only Ethereum because ethereum has a good platform and many in the interest by investors and traders.

Bitcoin is one of the most trustable and pioneer coin in cryptocurrency market in my opinion.
There are so many promising coins/tokens with a lot of technologies but there is no cryptocurrency defeat bitcoin in the upcoming years.

Talking about crypto money for a long time is not right. Obviously it is not so easy to foresee about the distant future. Like everyone else, I could say there might be something in the future. But it does not mean anything but empty words.

To be honest, I don't see any coins that can surpass bitcoin capitalization yet. The question should be put differently - are there coins that can bring income times more than bitcoin?

so far, none has the potential to beat bitcoin. Not only is a very solid technology but also large investors favor it for the larger cap and trading volume. I think, things can't change in the next 2-3 years

To be fair, Bitcoin isn't the best cryptocurrency in any category. Yes,it's the first and biggest coin but if they don't step up their game, they can fall behind in the future. With so many coins solving their scalability issues, finding more and more solution to improve, and with the falling behind of PoW algorithm in favor of PoS and others. Another big factor in the future will be privacy. Private coins will get bigger and bigger. If any coin,existing or not, can implement all those changes and stay in touch with future needs, then sooner or later Bitcoin will lose it's status as the most used and highest ranked coin.
Who will step up their game? It is bitcoin. It aint a who.
It was created to be better than others even if it was the first. You all see this new coins because bitcoin is created.
Take it out and all will be lost.
Do you really think this guys like Roger Ver or Vitalik will have an idea with a crypto currency if it aint for Satoshi? None. Their brains are not that far enough to be considered a genius. Nothing can beat bitcoin. Case closed.

This question is totally senseless yet no man can able to predict on the future but if we do just base on our own common sense on the current things happening on the market then its clear whose the strong contender that can really possible dethroned bitcoin into its current place which is ETH but still not an assurance thing to happen but theres a possibility or even on some altcoins in the market. No one really knows.

As of now, I honestly can't think of any that has that capacity, marketability, much less price point to beat Bitcoin. Bitcoin is such a big name in this market that it's very hard to overcome it. It has been present for a while now, and it has shown people lots of characteristics for them to believe and trust in it. Some may have shown good trends like Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash, but they still both have to improve leaps and bounds before any of them can be dubbed the altcoin that can beat Bitcoin.

Do you know that we cannot see the future right? There is no altcoin that currently exists cannot beat bitcoin and take bitcoin out of the top spot of the market cap, how are we supposed to know the name of the coin that could accomplish that in the future? And when we add the fact that bitcoin is such a good coin that is still being updated then the chances that a new cryptocurrency will appear and take the spot of bitcoin at the top are very low at best. So far no coin or token has been able to beat bitcoin, for one bitcoin has an average total supply of 21million and is the first blockchain protocol with great utility. However there is this coin called Nexty that has the capability of surpassing bitcoin in future because of scalability and speed features. I don't think that any altcoin exists that can beat Bitcoin because its the mother of all altcoins. However, Ethereum is the closest coin that is trying to chase Bitcoin. Personally, I would like to see if Bitcoin Cash can beat the Bitcoin

I used to believe in EOS, but not any longer. Block.one has double dipped big time, receiving $4 billion in the ICO as well as 100 million tokens, and even with this refuses to do anything to help the mainnet launch in the name of decentralization. This is delusional. Let's see if Cardano is more grounded in reality.

Totally agree with you. Privacy coins are the one that will be more used in a very near future. Most people don't understand this yet.
Bitcoin system doesn't give incentives to stakeholders like the full node operators
This is where I like Zencash: a privacy-focused cryptocurrency and node operators are rewarded.

I believe ethereum will reach bitcoin and pass bitcoin at some point in the future for total market cap, but i dont think it will be for long i think bitcoin still comes out on top in the long run.

I think that's an inappropriate question for now even though it's nice and interesting to discuss because Bitcoin is the basis for cryptocurrency activity. If there is any altcoin that prices continue to rise in competition in markets like ETH and NEO, then I think Bitcoin stays at the top.

no one knows, or can predict of beating the main cryptocurrency on the coinmarketcap which is bitcoin.. but, theres simple think or idea to pick altcoin maybe can surpass bitcoin those are from 2nd down to 10th altcoin on the market. today its hard to speculate.
