Airdrop used to be very lucrative, I remember the days of Polymath, Equal Token, Rebellious, those were dope airdrops, but these days people doing airdrops are just too many and desperate and Devs are taking advantage of this, most aidrops now don't even pay up to $1 anymore.
Sincerely some month back, I had quit filling airdrop form. Because I told my friends that the rate I took to fill airdrop is more than my period term paper writing in school. Meanwhile after filling and burning of data, the token the developer will give out will be as small as fish eye. So irritaring
I have also given up on it. Airdrop is almost a complete waste of time. Out of the hundreds if not even up to a thousand, nothing tangible to show for it. I just wasted my time with most. 
I think that participation in airdrops is a waste of time, 90% does not bring any tokens, and the remaining 10% tokens cost from 20 cents to 3 dollars. I do not see the point

Yes, some ICOs are an outright scams, but not all of them. I guess that many-many-many people participate in the airdrop campaigns (of a non-scam ICOs), therefore only few lucky participants receive their tokens. It's like a lottery.
