izerocoin.org is down at the moment.  I'm working on getting it back up.  Soon I hope.

We're back up.  I didn't get much feed back from the web host other than there was a spamming issue.  I know it wasn't coming from us.  We did have an issue on the wiki last week so I made it so only admins can update for now.

There are two new exchanges with i0coin voting.  Please vote if your are an i0coin supporter.  As always with new exchanges we can't know in advance if the exchanges will succeed.  We're just trying to get i0coin more widely traded to reach more investors and users.

20,000 I0C Client Upgrade Bounty

We need to move forward on the next version of the i0coin client.  It will bring added security and more potential for developing the i0coin economy.  I'm putting up a 20,000 I0C bounty for this effort with the following criteria to claim the bounty.

1.  Update must bring client up to Bitcoin version 0.9.3 (or later)
2.  OP_RETURN must be set to 80 bytes (to allow financial platform development)
3.  Merge mining must be operational
4.  At least one major merge mining pool must start using client (to prove it works)
5.  Maintain the memory streamlining features of i0coin version 0.8.x to keep memory usage to a minimum
     (memory issue info here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2830598)

I0coin now has a second faucet at i0coin.altcoinfaucet.net

Please donate to keep it going at i0coin.altcoinfaucet.net/stats

Forgot to mention, the great thing about this faucet is we can vary the amount of the transaction fee.  So not only do we get more i0coin user interest with the faucet, but we also increase the fees to miners.  Currently the tx fee is set to .0005 I0C for every payout.

Hi,

something weird: I installed i0coin-qt on my Linux-box (Debian testing). Everything went okay. no problem at all. An address for receiving i0coins was created. I copied the address, entered it into a pool for getting my coins - and nothing happened. When I opened the wallet again, this address was nowhere to be found. Also in the block explorer, it can't be found. But: When I look in wallet.dat, it is there.... any idea what I did wrong?

Thanks for help!

Okay, it seems as if ./i0coin-qt --rescan did the trick. Well, at least while it is rescanning, I'm seeing my old address again :-)

Also make sure the entire block chain has been downloaded.  It may take a day since it's large.  Thanks for giving i0coin a try!
