there's a lot of risk in any form of investment, there's not 100% kind of investment that could guarantee you a profit. example of this for ICOs are: you only trust the project but the team behind can still simply left the development and spend the money of the investors themselves, it is on team's control whether they will list the coin or not, and many more. You should carefully study the team's background because they have the full control of the ICO and its development.

ICO investmest is the most risky thing, we don't have guarantee if the ico will deliver its success or not, Some of the ico's also are scam. Beware of your investment. Study carefully the ICO before you join.. 
And ICOs are exactly the trend that we need to go with because it is sure to pull us from financial problems and from the life we would like to escape. I think, we just have to be sure to choose the best of the best icos and be learned and prepared of what might be possible to happen. Risk is everywhere and you only have two options, either to take it and neglect the possible success.

Investing in ICO is really risky but if you know how to research and identify how legit the ICO is you are very lucky. Before investing in ICO you should study first and research about the project so that you can identify if they are legit.

Most of the ico now has been scamming people to full their own bag with money. So be careful about the team. if you feel free to invest then you can, because ico potential ico invest can give you more profit.If that is your dream then probably you shouldn't be investing in icos. Even icos with good backgrounds and teams don't always end up successful. You can do everything on your part but its always a big gamble. You may want to put your dream into something that you can be more in control

Yes there is risk in Investing, you fear of losing your money into a shit project? Have you heard about VLB token Project? Well, talking about that trustworthy team, when they have conduct the first presale last 2017 they haven't reached the cap so they have issued a full refund, isn't that amazing? they have gain trust because VLB team is not greedy unlike those any other Shitty ICO project. so choose wise. in VL project there is no need to doubt and to take risk.

So you must make sure that you are investing in a legit ICOs with good team and nice project. You will be the early adaptor of the coins and you need to hold it for long term if you want a good profit.
an investors can do is to keep monitoring the team behind and make sure to chek the background so it will give a little edge if you knew that the project that you support have a good development that progressing.
