Now a days it had been noticed so but still there are few ICO's which are not scams or fraud . Just the thing is we need to research about the project thoroughly to understand whether it is a fraud or genuine one.
in my opinion, it can be said that most of the ICO are fake, deceit or not or will not work in the long term. and of course, they are a way to get free money but a very good project using ICO as a modern means of investment.
there were many scams with ICO. but I still invest in ICO. in the beginning, I have to study the project well and only then I decide to invest in it or not.

i would prefer to invest in an ico than try to do some trading. If you read the whitepaper of an ico and do some backgroung check about the the developer team you have some good opportunities to make some cash
Mostly ICOs is just a scam where you will lost your time and money. Better to do something more profitable and perspective, for example trading, mining, holding, etc.
