Though i don't understand the perspective you are driving into with your question but all the same. Most ICO are scam which give free money to the initiator or to project manager while ICO with legit project give free money to it participant free. In all ICOs is a new way to earn free money in the world of cryptocurrenciess.

yes, because there are so many fake ICOs emerging, for the purpose of making a profit and then running away. therefore we should be able to analyze every good ICO.
Well it is not.for.free even posting here in the forum will cost you from.the current consumption and the internet access you paid monthly so i guess paying or giving the reward is worth it. But somehow there are many ICO project that are relatively failing and the result they could not even pay the bounty hunters. As we all know that we are putting our efforts on joining cryptocurrency and it should be paid or or reward as promise. Anyway somehow if lucky also we will be able to earn on it.
Generally yes. Many new ico starts every day. But it is really hard to understand which is a valuable project. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a thorough research and invest accordingly.
It really comes down to doing your research and of course taking a bit of risk. As they say, buyer beware. 
They are not free, because you have to do something for it. And any work is paid, even the most scanty and worthless.
judging by the projects that are now gone, we can safely say that in 80% of cases, these projects are deceivers . They copy each other and there is no unique idea in the project. But there are also such projects where it is worth investing but they are very small.
ICO's are probably high risky and high profitable investment. They pop out every day and unfortunately many ending up in just few weeks after they are listed on some exchange.

I don't think that ICO is a Ponzi... Now there are a lot of technically strong projects conduct ICO. The main task is to find them between many others
Yes, every one here is here to earn money. ICO is an organised way to earn money. Only few ICO are real and have to establish a project.

I would not recommend ICO to make money because it can be a risk involved by investing in an ICO. Just spend wisely if you wanted to invest.

Of course, you can profit of the ignorance of the public, but it more and more difficult. If you don't offer real value, you will find very few people that will accept to give you some money.

It sure looks like it since so many people are just pushing new cryptocurrencies into the market and using it as a way to raise money for themselves instead of creating a coin that can be useful to the investors that are putting their money in these projects. Way too many scammers are now using ICOs to scam people and make off with their money which is wrong.
