ICO is not way to get free money ,Most ICO are scam.so you need to be very careful in choosing the ICO you invest.
if you mean bounty, yeah, that's a great way to get paid. but the idea is that you do not give them just so, and you have to earn it
I think there are a lot of fake ICOs out there. But not all of them. Maybe there are only a few and it is true to do your research and of course, take a bit of risk. Like many people say, buyers beware.
I don't think that ICO is a new way to get FREE money, you need some YOUR money to INVEST in ICO, also you can loose it if project scam.
I know that ICOs are good investments, however now there are many fake ICOs created to gather a huge amount of money from investors. With all new emerging technologies there comes the unknown and with the lack of regulations allot of scams are slipping through the net. Thus, I think people should be careful while investing in ICO. 
Indeed lately, not least the ICO fake or SCAM which led to, and of course it makes a very restless the bounty expect much at the ICO. but not least also the ICO success and profitability, this is certainly not how highly profitable, even we can get free coin without investment, only by participating in the campaign of his bounty we can get the result.

The big ponzi in cryptocurrency is BitConnect, i know many people has rich with it, but it also makes people unaware of crypto go to poor, and in them will said bitcoin is ponzi or scam, now ponzi in Crypto is die, i very happy
I think that ICO can support investors to earn money and get more profit, but they must be sure that the ICO investment will be successful and the risk is minimum. You can get money from it, that's also means you are also able to pay big for it.

There are many projects which are scam but there are many which are really good and have a strong concept and community and are legit. The main goal is spotting and researching the right one among all the ICOs and not just go by the amount of marketing one is doing. There are lot of silent ICOs which do not spend much on marketing as they believe more in their project and strictly abide by rules and regulations and are strong. We should invest in such projects
There are a lot of ICOs that have good projects and ideas. You just have to choose wisely. Study first before you invest. Have a good research on them and choose an ICO that will give you big money.

As I know, the only free one in the ICOs are the airdrops because the amount of coins that they are giving people is very high as giving investors reward. Thus I think this is one of the best opportunities for you to invest in ICO for free.

In my opinion. It is true that some scammers are taking advantage of the ICO boom. If you read company whitepapers and check out team members. As well as ask the right questions, you can weed out the scams from the real companies wanting to make a difference.

I don't really think there is other way to get money in ICO apart from bounty, Approximately 80% of them are doing bounty.but there are many scam ICO and bounty right now, we should be careful of that.
now there are many ICO-scammers. Because investors, who invest in the project at the stage of ICO, become less, as they are afraid that their money invested in ICO can disappear. Although of course, now with the help of ICO can earn a lot of money. But promising Ico-projects now hardly manage to attract investors' attention, as investors prefer to buy new tokens after they are released to the exchange.
