It is really good to start investing in ICO you can use that as your training ground if you really love investing. But you should need to consider that there is ICO that scam, you should need to be careful when you choose ICO to invest in. Invest in short term campaign rather than long term.

not all ico is really a good investment. a lot of them are scam. but there are also a lot that have a great value.
There's always a risk in ICO, even a good one will turn to a dead project. You must need to know the risk and the golden rule, Invest what you can afford to lose. You're the only one can tell if the project is good or not. If you trust someone then go for it but you need to read about the project's whitepaper and roadmap and dig down other concrete information that will prove to the project is not a scam.
The best altcoins to me will be ICOs that will emerge with tangible projects in 2018.

I think ICO is risky, but when we can do a good research to see the vision of a project, I think we can reduce that risk to the lowest point. I'm sure we can have many ways to succeed and one of them is ICO
It depends on the ICO you are investing your money in. First of all before investing any money to ICO's you have to do your research. Check the ICO's road map. What the coin offers and most importantly check the managing team of these ICO's if they are trustworthy enough to trust your money with them. Once you have done all your research you may now invest your money hoping that it will yield high returns. Just be ready of the losses as well. So I guess it will really depend on the person investing if it would be a good investment for him or not.

Not really advisable if you have weak hands. Playing in this market is really hard. Weak hands would eventually leave just like most of the dumpers. As you can see, altcoins are far more volatile and it is much harder especially for those starting ICOs out there. There will eventually be a problem every now and then. From what I see, I think you should invest in something that is backed by bigger hands. Good projects, nice whitepaper, clear goals, and great developing team. These projects are mostly worth taking on and putting your hard earned money to support.

Depends heavily on the ico project. If it has a good idea it can go far, if it's just some copycat coin then there is a big chance you will lose money.
